Miss Ladybugs Diary

OKAY GALS, my only gruff about the guys (my son's) not my hubby, he's a huge helper. is THIS...... Why is it when they finally do help with something, that after they are done with it they look at us like, "ummmm Where is my praise or thank you for doing it'???? EXCUSE ME, but when the hell does anyone ever thank me for scrubbing their pee ridden toilet or vacuuming their rooms, or cleaning up their dishes??? HUH??? Where is my thank you EVERYDAY for doing these items. There is NONE, Okay I might be harsh on this subject, but it's the truth. I will say, my hubby is the biggest helper ever when it comes to doing the yards, taking care of things that need to be repaired and so on, so I'm NOT saying men don't do anything for us, that's not it AT ALL, I'm talking strictly of my teenagers here. I got lucky and married a guy that does stuff before I have to say anything, where did he come from?? LOL He's a keeper. My son's now they need to learn a lesson from their step dad that's for sure!!

I am so with you on this. I lived with my father for a few years and it came to the point where he was not allowed to use my dishes, or my pots and pans if he didn't clean up after himself. He'd seriously leave the stuff on the coffee table like "here you go, I'm done now, pick it up" or dirty pots in the sink. Oh hell no!!!!!! I am not a damn maid. I'm past the please and thank you stage, and that goes for everyone. I won't live with slobs. I don't expect everyone to be nuts about a clean place, but ughhhh I really get irate. Bathrooms are a big deal for me too. If everyone just cleans up a little bit whenever they can, nothing becomes outrageously dirty.

Mine's a keeper too! (He is a great cook and steps up with the house and laundry--we are a team at our house!) He is the best! ;) Love and appreciate him so much!

My bf and I definately clean up together and since he doesn't work as much as I do, he tends to do most of the cooking. The cooking he'll do on his own, the cleaning I do have to remind him but he never complains and he'll always do it. So in that sense, I really don't mind reminding him because it gets done without a complaint. I know others whom the guys just won't do anything. So, I definately think mine's a keeper too, hehe.

My sons do housework and one of them has pretty high standards and does a good job, but the other one...leaves a little to be desired. I had to laugh at the "pee ridden toilet". Is it wrong to daydream about the day I live alone? LOL

NO, it is not and you will be very BORED I'm sure!! I know I will. I make fun of thier untidy ways, but really they are the loves of my life, and I'm going to miss all of it someday soon, I'm sure! :)

My only complaint about my wife is that she forgets to put the toilet seat back up!:rotflmao:

Oh those damn toilet seats! Nothing like getting up in the middle of the night, to fall into a cold ass bowl of water, YUK!! it also freaks you out, that falling feeling, then the cold water on your bum, Geesh, who hasn't had this happen before. HEY there RELLY!!! How ya doing girl?? I'm so happy to see new people stopping in this morning, I can't wait to go to their diary's and read their stories, I hope I get some extra time this weekend to get around and do just that. Your daughter loves her mommy and that's all that matters, it seems girls tend to help moms more on the cleaning than the guys, just from experience I have two nieces also. My sons help me in other ways, they used to be VERY over protective of me when I was single it was so cute!! Nobody was every good enough for old mom. They have been there for me during the hard and good times, we must be very blessed to have them. On that note HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

WELCOME Determined!! And thanks for stopping by this morning. I'll try and get by your diary this evening if I get the chance okay? If not maybe tomorrow afternoon I can slip in a few extra hours for myself. My weekends seem to be packed with other stuff I can't get done during the week because of work and working out, but I love this website and I always make time for it at least a little each day. Thank you for the Congrats too, I appreciate that! It's hard work to stay on track, I work on it every day and I'm not kidding! Eating and excercise daily is a strain on the brain sometimes, but I seem to make it throw regardless, if you want something bad enough, you'll do whatever it takes to get it, and mine is weight loss. I just want to look good FOR ME and that's all. I can't wait to read your story and find out what you have been up to. Again thanks for stopping in and I look forward to getting to know you!

The man's response: Nothing like getting up in the middle of the night, trying to aim just right, and then splattering all over the place because someone left the toilet seat down. Then you have to turn the light on, and that wakes you up, and you can't go back to sleep, so your whole day is ruined. :eek2:

Yeah, I'm sure that's what the wife is thinking when she finally gets up that morning, to see a bunch of urine all over that she will have to wipe down. HAHAHAHA Is this a viscous circle of life or what???? All I can say IS.... thank god for Clorox WIPES!!! YES best damn item in household cleaning since AJAX.:jump:

Oh those damn toilet seats!

At our house, both the seat and the lid get put down every time! Solves the problem for everyone! (One of our cats likes to play in the toilet water and splashes water all over the seat if the lid is not down). Oh yeah and being OCD, I prefer to look at the toilet cover than the bowl....but that's just me. :)

Yeah, but she loves me anyway -- because I do most of the cooking!:newangel:

I would say that's a GOOD ENOUGH reason for just about any upsets in the household. My honey cooks to, actually we like to cook together, it's fun, he makes these awesome Pecan rolls and Lime jello concoction. Men that cook, it's a turn on FOR SURE!!

OCD, really??? Cat's are crazy about toilet bowls, why I have no idea, mine are as well, but I usually keep the bathroom door closed, that's about the best I can do. Speaking of bathrooms, mine are in need of a deep cleaning this weekend, UGGG, why did I bring up this topic, I just get myself screwed every time I open my mouth lately. LOL LMAO!!

Hi sweetheart, how's your day going?? Hope you're having a good one girl. This is my FIRST mother's day! So very exciting for me as I waited so long to have my baby. You're old hat at this Mother's Day stuff, but I'm still wishing you the absolute best. You sound like you deserve it, what with 2 of them at the same time! Chat lata.

My wife and I used to fight over housework a LOT. Then we decided we'd rather drive more modest cars, and spend the extra money on a housecleaner twice a month. That ended the arguments. I don't think we've had a fight in 25 years, and we've been together for 33 years.
