I am feeling much better today. Yesterday was crazy busy! The end of the grading period is coming up so everything is winding down but it's still just nuts! I have done well on my cals though. I read Mals sticky in one of the other sections here and it just broke down all the Fats, Carbs, and Protein info. It was really helpful... I may need to read it again though it was long!! lol I also read about calories and again calculated what I should be eating to maintain and lose. I know that 1200 calories is just too low for me.... but it gets results so fast!! According to the calculations I did I need 2334 calories to maintain the weight I want to be (150) and to lose I cut 30% and that brings me to 1634 which means I am eating way under my calories. So I am trying to work my way up. I am already back down to 168 as of this morning ( I had gone up to 172!) and yesterday I had a respectable 1434 calories. I have been trying to eat more during the day and stay away from bad stuff at night. I am certainly chewing lots of gum to try to stay away from snacking!!! So I will figure it out. I may not win the Body Transformation Challenge but this is a mind transformation and if I get that then I will win anyway

Thanks Brandy! I hope it won't take 5 years but if I think about it I have been on this road for almost 4 years!! That is when I first started to lose weight and I have come so far! I will stay strong

lol I did join the Body Transformation challenge but for some reason, even though I am a competitive person I just deflate for challenges. They put a lot of pressure on me and though that is good sometimes to be challenged when pressure from the rest of my life builds up it just creates a lot of stress and unhealthy habits.... however I have completed almost every challenge I have been in!! Maybe not successfully but certainly saw it through!! lol Maybe in the summer when I have more time I will join something else but I think for now one is good

he he he. You are spot on though. I need something that is sustainable. I can do great and lose so much with a low cal diet but it just can't be maintained for me and I will eventually gain it back. So I am trying to keep my cals up which is a lot harder when your not cheating! My goal is 1,600 a day and to keep up with walking for now. As my car is in the shop I have had a hard time getting to the gym but when it comes back I will commit to the gym a few times a week
