Sport Mindless Snacking

Sport Fitness
I've been having a real problem the last few days: mindless snacking.

I was sitting around the house watching golf on TV all weekend, and I did way too much snacking (because of boredom, not because of hunger). Of course, I was eating healthy snacks, just way too many of them.

Do y'all have any advice for controlling these ridiculous cravings?

There is something about snacks that I notice, when you start eating them it gets harder and harder to stop the longer you continue eating them in one session.

instead of eating the whole bag. lol

dump out a portion/serving in a cup/bowl
after you "finish" the bowl, you will stop snacking. duh :]

thats what i do. control your servings.

Just stop snacking. It's all about self control. Think about your goals. Will this snacking help you achieve those goals?

Restrict your snacking to fresh raw fruits, salads and vegetables. They generally take a long time to chew and are good for you! If you are cutting, you need to avoid high glycemic index fruits, but otherwise, it is almost impossible to eat too much and ruin your diet.

when i eat a serving of something and still have a taste for it i brush my teeth, it really helps, you lose the taste for it.
also, you have really clean teeth.
