Military Press enough for shoulders?

depends on frequency and how much volume you preform them with. It could be wise to vary though.

It will help the shoulders, but you need to change the exercise up every 1-2 months because the CNS and musculature adapts to the exercise and stops growning.

kinda have to see your whole routine.

if you did bench press AND military press in the same session, I wouldn't do anything more for the front delts. rear delts get hit on certain rowing moves so they're a different ball of wax.

I would alternate between military press, push press, and neutral grip db pressing as far as OH pressing is concerned.

I dont do military presses and bench presses in same session, should I add a shoulder press or something

Military presses works more than shoulders right?

military press targets the front delts

link shows the synergist muscles that help, but its primarily a shoulder exercise...but a hard one that pulls in lots of other muscles to help and to stabilize...hence its superiority to, say, front raises.

Tru Dat.

If you're doing military presses, you're targeting the front delts. The most exercise your synergists will get are the triceps. If you do back exercises, you don't really need to do posterior delts unless you wanna get big shoulders, which i do, so i do them :D

U gotta focus on the lateral delts more than the either ones.

the muscles will only stop growing if you use the same weight,if you increase the weight you can do the same exercise for years and keep growing, take a
look at powerlifters.

Will do, it's time for a change up anyways...which brings me to ask another question if I want a pretty big back and broad shoulders (not like Brock Lesnar though lol) I should add which to my exercise? right now I do bent over rows, military presses and shrugs for that part of my body. I think I will add upright rows for my lateral delts.

your doing a horizontal pull but no vertical pull.try chins.
one is for thickness one for width.
