just reading this made me hungary.......I love red meat, and it sounds like you do too, are you doing a high portien on a regular basis???

not really. I love red meat too. Maybe more so than the average person. No real high protien diet persei, although now that the summer is gone I will be eating more red meat (wild game and beef). In the summer my diet consists more of fresh veggies and various salads.

so yeah, this weekend was my first time visiting my folks since May. Back in May I was about 230 lbs... So obviously I looked a little different :)

Needless to say I've surprised a lot of people and my new nickname has become slim lol
 
Oh, that's so awesome! I'm hoping to do that when my mom comes home for Christmas. I bet the look on their faces was priceless! :)

Its funny - since ive been loosing ive kind of kept quiet about it to a lot of people bar my closer friends and family, its fun to see peoples reactions when you turn up 70-100lb lighter :)

My sister is overseas and i told everyone not to tell her because its a running joke that shes spastic and im fat (no, really she is handicapped and spastic lol)
So online she still makes fat jokes and everyone tries not to laugh (fat jokes in a nice way, not a nasty way, we're always joking about)

I bet they were shocked!! Slim - lol... cute!

I'm hoping for a similar reaction we go to Nebraska to visit family. I'm always the biggest one - it's just expected so it will be nice to not be the weeble when picture time comes. :D:D

jogging 3 kms, 16 minutes

yeah, my mom was really shocked. She knew I lost the weight, but obviously seeing is beliving :D

It was actually easier than I thought it would be. I've been dealing with temptation all weekend. Dad offering me chips and dip, and other dangerous snacks... I think I might have this eating thing under control lol

yeah, my brother and I have always been pretty big (in our adult life) but apparently he's slimmed down a lot too. I haven't seen him since March so I can't confirm.

thanks... coming home 50 lbs lighter than last time has really been a great confidence booster. I didn't really but anything into perspective until recently.

we also all live in igloos, travel by dog sled and canoe!

Wow, yesterday was a long day.

I over did it a bit on Thanksgiving Dinner #2, but I didn't do that bad. I ended up eating about 2300 calories.

I drove back home after supper, dodged a few deer while I cheered on my Denver Broncos (I heart sirius).

Today

breakfast
oj, cheerios, milk

hobbit breakfast
eggs, bacon, taters, rye toast

supper
turkey and gravy, rice dressing, yams, and apple crisp

total 1700

I didn't have any lunch because I was still pretty full from the hobbit breakfast.



My goals from last week?

I think I wanted to jog/walk 25 kms. I managed to jog 27.
I wanted to lose 2 lbs, I lost 4

this weeks goals?
I have an extreamly busy week with production and all so I'm going to try to jog/walk 20 kms and lost 2 lbs.

Sounds like some very repectable goals to me - Congrats on exceeding last week's goals - that's fantastic!!

exercise

went to the gym tonight

10 minutes on the treadmill for warm up

worked upperbody for 30 minutes. biceps, tri's, chest, lats...

25 minutes on stationary bike, 230 calories
 
oh yeah you guys have Thanks Giving thing. Good on you for sticking with it!
Thats awesome!

Dunno if you guys are the same but i usually plan ahead i i know im going to have a larger meal later on (ie resteraunts etc) and eat less the rest of the day so i can take the calorie hit a little better if i get out of hand :D
