Well yesterday I had to do a couple of things so I left work early.
I had to get out in the crazy Christmas rush to get a few things but also a couple of things for me. Like a new exercise bike. Yes I ran the one I had into the ground. It was a cheapo walmart one anyway so what could I expect. It lasted about 4 months I guess. It was loud as hell to where I couldn't even hear the tv anymore and you could not adjust the resistance anymore, it just stayed on super hard. So I bought a pretty nice one that is super quiet and has electronic settings. :hurray:
Next things I bought was a few new clothes. I bought a new belt and some new jeans. Size 44 .Hopefully this summr I can be in a 34. When I started I was in a size 52 and headed to a 54 ugh! I also bought some shirts. 2xl where as I was at 4xl in some and 3xl tall in others. So I'm still big as hell but not damn big as hell! :D

Hmm... I will have to check that football thread out. Grr...stupid fuckeyes. I was kinda nasty myself, though..haha.

Congrats on the new clothes and the shrinking clothes sizes--awesome!!

I'll bet your new bike is smokin'--and not in a way that means it's broken...:biggrinjester: It cracks me up that you wore out your old one. Just imagine what you'd do to a woman. :biggrinjester:

Love ya, darlin'! Have a merry merry Christmas. :santa:

Hi there! Yes, I am alive. :D I hope you're doing well and had a great Christmas. Congrats on all the weight loss. You kicked ass in the challenge. :hurray:

Thanks everyone. This forum has made a big difference in my weightloss this past 5 months. I've learned so many things that I beleive will help me to keep the weight off this time where as in the past I've yo-yo'd. I've adopted the ideas that I've made a lifestyle change and I'm not simply "on a diet" this time. I've made changes that I can comfortably maintain for the rest of my life. It's not easy but it's not the worst thing I've had to endure either.
For anyone who reads this that has just signed up to the forum as a part of your "New Years Resolution", please don't look at this as just a way to lose some weight. Look at it as changing how you live, for the better. You don't have to deprive yourself of enjoying food. Just don't over do it. Account for each calorie you put in your mouth and if you go over your intake range once in a while, don't sweat it. Just get back on the wagon the next day. Do some exercises. You don't have to join a gym, do what you are comfortable doing. Any exercise is better than no exercise.
I look forward to 2008 for alot of reasons but this year I look forward to being alot healthier than I have been in a really long time. I've got another 58 lbs to go but it doesn't seem like that much to lose anymore. Not when I look back to see where I've come from. It used to look like such an unclimbable mountain but it's not. You just have to take that first step!
Thanks to all of you on here who've been so supporative. I look forward to spending 2008 with all of you pervs :D
Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

:party::party:

What you have accomplished over the past 5 months is extraordinary! I cannot believe how fast you've taken the weight off. You're freaking awesome, Paulie, dear. :)

Happy New Year!

Hope we do great in 2008 & will be looking fine by 2009! :D

Great post above. You are so right about it being a lifestyle change & one needing constant dedication to just keep trying no matter how many times you fall. Sounds like you have it down. Hope you get to enjoy the day & relax in the new year.
