Hey ya'll .

yesterday was kinda hectic. I didn't get time really to post any. I also ended up not exercising yesterday so I'll count it as my weekly day off. did manage to gulp down all of my water though.

Last night I spent one of the most uncomfortable hours of my life. It started out like it was going to be harmless. I went to meet my ex-wife and my kids out at the Power Plant to look at a car that a guy is looking to sell. My Son is going to be needing one soon. So then her husband shows up too. Well needless to say this douche is not my favorite person in the world. On most levels I guess he is an ok guy but I still have to repress in the back of my mind that this is the asshole that my then wife cheated on me with unbeknownst to me at the time. So my ex and son get in the car and drive off down the road for a test drive. There starts possibly the most uncomfortable 10-15 minutes you can think of. I'm standing in this parking lot with him and the guy selling the car and luckily my daughter. He's trying to make small talk and I'm wishing he would spontaneously combust. Finally they come back. I know they weren't gone that long but it seemed like an eternity! So I get in the car with my son and drive it myself. First thing I say to him was "boy that was really ackward" . he says "yeah I thought about that. when we were driving off" . Perceptive boy!
Anyways, alls well that ends well I guess. I should just build the bridge and get over it *L*

You showed some real restaint there MGG! If I had been in that situation with any of the numerous guys (or even the one girl) that my ex cheated on me with I think I would have had to kick some ass. Way to be there for your son though, that's important.

Here's the plan: Call asshole douche up and tell him you would like to take him out for drinks. Tell him that you feel that it is important for the two of you to at least get along for the sake of the kids. Pick him up in your car and go to the bar. Drop him off in front and tell him you are going to go park the car and he should go on in and get yall a table. Then you leave him there and go home. Oh, did I mention that the bar is a gay bar?

Paul, I'm sorry you had to experience that. I don't even like being around my H's ex-girlfriends that he dated before I came into the picture (luckily that rarely happens), so I can't imagine your situation. Like Griff said, you exercised great restraint, and that shows a lot about you as a person. Had you started something with him, it would only have caused your children to become upset, so you put them before yourself--GREAT DAD!!:hug2::hug2::hug2:
