Mid-Lower Abs

Your diet. Hate to say it, but the best way to see your abs is to clean up your diet and lose body fat.

But to answer your question, if you want to work your abs, leg raises and reverse crunches are good for your lower abs.

Hope this helps :)

I have been trying to achieve 6 pack abs and had a few questions. I try to run 5-6 times a week, i do weight lifting that works my chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps, back, etc. I also do ab workouts, crunches, some exercises on a medicine ball, bicycle, etc. I think my problem is diet. Can someone tell me a general meal plan throughout the day that will help me to achieve six pack abs. Also do protein bars help a lot, or do they work against you in any way?

It is hands down....your nutrition. You can roll around on a wheel or do a million and one crunches and never see much of any results.
Get your nutrition DOWN amigo. A little fact about the abs (rectus abdominus) .....you can't separate them into sections and attempt to work one area harder. So don't waste time trying.

The abs are part of the "core"....they protect your vital organs and work with all movements and against over rotation and stretching.

Number 1 exercise for the entire core is the deadlift.

yea..i can tell that my abs are fairly toned, but i need to lose the fat covering the muscles. I am not sure how to go about a daily nutrition plan...as far as specific suggestions of what to eat for meals and snacks throughout the day. I try to eat good but I am not educated on what foods are the best for losing that stomach fat that hides the abs. If anyone has a rough daily nutrition plan that will help me lose the fat hiding the abs please post it. Thanks.

last year b4 school started that was the problem with my abs but then i started cross country and running 5 days a week. in no time i got purdy ripped :p
so i suggest you start running my friend :)

yea thats what i do every night i run for about an hour. i might skip one night a week but i do it when at all possible. so usually 5-6 times a week

i dont know why but yogurt and low sodium soups are supposed to be good foods to eat if youre working on your abs and waistline. Advoiding too much salt all together can help. also, gum can trigger bloating in your midsection because of the sorbitol in it.

If i ride my bike 24 miles 5 days a week at around 13 mph would this help me much to see my abs?

No, Not in any way.

When your riding your bike your leaning forward and your supported by your back.

Muslces are built with reps, not static positions.

(If no1 could mention the plank that would be great!)

There are many factors in getting that six-pack, you can't just do one or the other, they must all be in place.

Your diet is a HUGE factor in determining on how visible those abs are going to be, you aren't going to have anything visible if it is covered in fat.

You must get rid of that body fat by doing some cardio in conjunction with your diet and lifting, Running, swimming, HIIT, etc.

And your weight session should also be in check. I'm sure a quick search will cover a lot that you need to know.

lower abbs

Leg lifts are the best but like a few people said earlier the diet makes and breaks it. You can do all the leg lifts you want but with out the proper diet it wont show.
