Mic's "One Step at a Time" Journal

Well, that's what I thought last week, but this I've been doing MORE and I've been switching it up with that dvd and stuff so I thought I would get the old routine flushed from my body....

What do you think?

And the compliments kept coming yesterday!! Oh my gosh it was so nice. A little awkward. But nice. lol.

I figured out something... People have mostly said, "You look good!" "Good" meaning, you look like you've lost weight. lol.

Just wait for 50 more pounds to be gone. Then, I wonder what people will say. "You look great!"?

Or maybe... HOLY SHIT! lol

IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!

So I'm going to my grandma's after work for dinner with the family. They are ordering chinese. =/ YIKES!!

I'm staying away from the cream cheese wontons and sweet n sour chicken. And the fried noodles. And the breaded chicken. Oh but it all tastes soooo goood. lol.

This will be a true test of some willpower for sure.

After that, I'm off to the gym!

I weighed myself this morning for my "official" end of challenge weigh in. I am at 187.5!! That means I did end up losing around a pound this week. Better than nothing!! That's a loss of 18.5 lbs for the challenge; I'm hoping it's enough to win.

I'm going to try switching things up this week so I can dig myself outta this rut I've been in for the last two weeks. lol. Let's try fewer calories and see how that goes.

That is awesome abt hte lb down , switching things up with cals and exercise is a good habit to form:)

How did you do with the chinese food?
 
lol, I did alright with the chinese food. I kept my portions down and instead of grabbing a bunch of fried things I stuck with the veggie dishes. I'm sure it still wasn't the best thing to be eating though.

Yeah, I really do need to keep in mind that I have to be switching things around when my body starts to slow down with the weight loss and progress.

One thing I never understood is how people don't really lose very much on the scale but they lose inches... How is that possible? I just keep hoping that I'm still losing inches even if I'm not losing much on the scale. lol
 
Well with me, i struggle to loose anyhting, I eat ok, I exercise alot and hard...bu tI really struggle...

Ive also hardly lost any inches but im thinkin maybe i am loosing actual body fat...cuz im lookin alot better.Fekking better and my clothes are gettin to big...

Your body also redistributes weight too so who knows...

I just know when I feel like Im getting no where i remind myself that obviously all the exercise is doing something:)

 
I bet you are getting the "Holy Shit(s)" already!! It's just when you walk away, or it's in their head. Just wait till they can't control their mouths and can't hold it in anymore... from the looks of things... that's coming. Great work so far!! :)

So, yesterday was our last weigh in for my work challenge. I'm hoping I won with a total loss of 18.5 lbs! I have yet to receive the email with all the standings...

The suspense is killing me!! lol

Another day, another dollar, here at work. It's busy again today so at least the day will go by a little faster.
