I've never had this happen before. I am a fan of my muscles being sore from working them, I can deal with my legs and arms hurting. But this kind of hurt is no bueno. I'm going to "RICE" it. Although, elevating my arm is a little awkward... hahaha.
 
Yeah that really sucks, I ended up with a muscle spasm from the right side of my neck, down into my shoulder that lasted for a few days a little while ago. Not much fun. Take care of it and take it easy...
 
I was having muscle spasms in my left thigh last night and it tickeled! lol It lasted for like 10 minutes.

Thanks Karl :) I guarentee even if it's not better by tomorrow I'll still do SOMETHING for my workout. Maybe the bike because I don't think you need arms....

Your doing great :) what sort of exercise are you doing with your shoulder ? are you keeping it balanced ? are you strengthening your rotator cuff as well as the main shoulder muscles ?
 
Hey there... I have been MIA, busy weekend! My boyfriend surprised me with a hotel getaway for saturday. I got to take one of those huge candlelit jacuzzi bubble baths! lol. It was fun. And even though I was "away" they had a gym and I utilized it!! Even if it was only 45 mins. lol. Sunday we were lazy but I did my workout dvd for strength and then we went snowboarding. I'm not too sure how to record that one... I think I'll mark like 45 cardio for it or something.

Trus, I didn't really do anything special for my shoulder. I only did cardio and pushed off the weights until it was feeling better! Now it's better and so I'm back to the free weights. :D I do keep it balanced though, I think. What kind of exercise would be for strengthening my rotator cuff??
 
A hotel get-away? That is so romantic and sweet of him! And good on you for getting in that gym time!!! I feel like I wouldn't have had any gym. lol. As for snowboarding.... VERY much an exercise. It works muscles you don't even know you had!!

Haha, that's for sure it's a workout! AND we parked about 2 miles away and had to walk there and back in the snow so that was a heart pounder too. :D
I love boarding, it's so much fun.
 
Snowboarding is a friggin' blast... But I'm always scared getting off the lift that I am going to fall down the mountain before I'm ready. I've had QUITE a few falls that have left me feeling..... faint. lol. I remember one time falling and hitting my head.... and I think a blood vessel popped in my eye, because all I saw was YELLOW. I'm not the most coordinated person- so snowboarding isn't something I'm great at. But its a lot of fun.
 
lol, that's always the tricky part! Getting off the lift. I always like to warn everyone I ride up with that I may be falling while getting off. I was doing pretty good for my first time out this season, I didn't crash at all! :D The snow was really good too. I just went really slowly carving back and forth... good times. Days like that remind me of how much fun I can have.
 
CHILI!!! Doesn't that just sound so fricken good right now? It does to me! I have been craving something warm and hearty for awhile now. I don't have class tonight and I finally have the time to make something homemade. I calculated the calories, which was the coolest thing I've seen, and it's really not too bad. About 300 calories per serving. So... Tonight when I get done working out it's CHILI time. :D Mmmmmm.
 
mmmmm, that does sound yummy. I made a stew last week that was perfect for the weather I've had today...too bad the stew's all gone. :( I think I might go have some chili instead. :D
I'm hoping to learn how to snowboard before we leave here. nothing better than being able to brag that I got to snowboard on the Italian Alps. :biggrinjester: sounds like you had a fantastic weekend. lucky you for having such a nifty b/f.
 
Hey Michelle, you sent me a really nice message - sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. With university my job I don't get online nearly as often as I would like.

How did the chilli go last night? I love chilli with wholegrain rice or with a baked potato. Good luck with you weight loss this week =D
 
The chili turned out FANTASTIC!! It was so goood. I brought some today for lunch too.
I did 50 minutes of a workout dvd while it was cooking, ate, then did another 35 minutes of elliptical afterwards. Yesterday felt like an awesome day. But I couldn't sleep! I don't know why but for the past two days it's been hard to sleep. Usually I have no problems!! Maybe my mind's just racing...

Oofda, what a week... It's so loooong. I have been working 9-8pm and then working out after work. Wake up, go to work, work out, sleep. Wake, work, workout, sleep. Tonight I'm not sure if I'll be able to get in a workout. I have the duty of making my coworker a birthday cake for Friday. I found fat free cake and fat free frosting recipes. of course. :D Hahaha. I'll still only have a little bit. ;)

Friday after work I have plans to meet up with an old friend so I'm going to have to wake up early to do my workout in the morning before. Otherwise, when will I do it?!

*napolean dynamite sigh*

But don't worry guys, my next day off to relax is coming up next thursday. ;)
