Hello All!!


First of all i would like to say thanks for reading my diary!
I've been chubby all my life but I've really been packing on the pounds hte last couple years which has affected my self-esteem in a not-so-good way.

I'm also a vegan so you think that i would manage to stay away from bad sugars and such but those darn vegan cupcake books and oh so addictive soy ice cream!!

so here are a few things about me:

-- How much weight do you want to lose?
Right now I currently weigh around 149 and I am 5'1''.
My ideal weight i think would be around 115-120 but honestly i think i would be happy at 130, as long as i was toned

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?

Well i am heading off to college next year so i would like to have a fresh start with a new body and lifestyle...so about 4 months

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
I want to use exercise as a main reason for losing weight, but i also want to eat healthier because i know that i will feel more energetic and feel better. But i cant deny indulgence now and then!

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?


-- How realistic is your goal?

pretty realistic i think, it would put me in the normal weight range and i was at that weight a few years ago

-- When will you start?
today!!!

What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?

--my laziness. I can't get my butt of the coach to the gym, but once i'm there i like to stay for awhile before i go home.

Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
--I just feel uncomfortable all the time in my own skin which is a horrible feeling!! and i never have enough energy!

What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
--laying off the chocolate. I admit it anything with chocolate immediately grabs my interest

Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
--back in the day i used to drink slimfast until they came up with some wacky different formula then i couldnt stomach the stuff. Then i went on atkins. Currently i think a vegan raw foods approach would be the healthiest, but i do love cooked foods so we will see.

Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
--sure! I love food journals! One of my favorite things to do is look at food porn on the theppk.com

Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
--most of my meals are from home. I usually cook pasta rice or bean meals

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
--oh goshh that sounds fantastic!! I think i would be more outgoing and comfortable with who i am as a person, not thinking that everyone is judging me all the time.
Do you eat when you are not hungry?
--yepp when something sounds good, or i think that i won't be able to eat anything else for a few hours. Maybe if I'm bored? I know i cook or bake when I'm bored.
Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
--every meal??

In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
--well i have a gym membership but as i said before its hard for me to get myself to the gym. Schools out after this week though so i will make myself go every other day or every day!!

Do you have rewards for certain goals?
--me and my sister made a pact to buy something for each other if we reach our goal weights. I think i asked for a wheatgrass juicer because i love those shots but they are so darn expensive!!
