Shit, I had to meditate and be alone on my mountain, eating healthily, sleeping, PRAYING (not to any gods in particular, just putting out energy into the cosmos), doing LOTS of Yoga and bringing my energy back into myself....we all do it differently but I can imagine you're on a Journey to get back to full happiness and potential and I wish you the BEST and I certainly want you to be happy and YOU again. I know you might not be on the forum much but I've thought of you and I'll be thinking of you, dear sweet friend

Beautiful Beth!!!! A pleasure to see you again, doll! With regards to my S2BX, I keep hearing that things will get better and I'm hoping it will soon. So does that mean someone will shoot his face off? God, I'm so violent. Oh well.
As for Bob, the next time he comes to Hawaii, try sneaking away with him so that we can meet up! I'd LOVE that! Oh and yah, Ewa Beach is beautiful even if everyone's home looks alike. haha
2009 will definitely be a good year for us health wise, beauty. I'm all for it! I'm already keeping tabs on this end, so come around June 6th (my birthday), I'll go ahead and post new pictures. Right now... ummmm I'll just wait on that so that I can feel really positive and look smashing.

Today I went and took my puppy, Max, on a 50 min brisk walk. He's a gorgeous pup. He's a pure bred blue-nosed American Pitbull Terrier with cropped ears that my father adopted from the Humane Society a month before I moved back to Hawaii. (I had been wanting a puppy for the longest time while living in NY, but my husband wouldn't allow it.) He's ~7months old and weighs a stocky ~45lbs.
Since being home, I have trained Max to be the most obedient dog ever. I got some "Dog Whisperer" in me, let me tell ya. hahaa! I'm just the "hot version" of Cesar Millan. HA! The only problem is, he gets really excited/ anxious when seeing other dogs. He doesn't get to socialize with other dogs, because when people see him, they think he's going to maul their dogs. (Damn dog stereotypes...) Actually, he's just a big puppy and wants to play.
So we're walking along and suddenly there's a lady with a chihuahua at the stop light. We start walking and the lady calls us over, because she wants to see my "schnauzer." Ummm ok... I get there and Max gets all excited, but doesn't bark or anything at her dog. He does the usual dog deal with a bit of sniffing, then just sits and waits. Out of nowhere, her damn chihuahua goes airborne and tries to attack my pitbull. Instead she pulls her dog away, she let's the leash go! Max tries to run away and I'm over here yelling at her, "grab your dog!!!" Being as her dog got a hold of Max's lip and she wasn't taking the initiative to get her dog, I had to do what was best.... I kicked it. She cried and called me "an evil person" while walking off with her bitch lil dog in hand.
Sadly, Max and I walked away. Max is a pussy of a pitbull and I'm an evil "Chihuahua Punter." (Nickname given by my father.) Damn cunts and their chihuahuas. Pffft... and they say pitbulls are vicious. My ass.

I have no doubt you made Max the most obedient dog ever. From what i read you could have that influence on most. Maybe i have read you wrong but i dont think so.
Maybe next time instead of kicking the dog you should kick her and teach her the lesson.

Chihuahuas are the most useless, annoying dogs in existance. I've never met one I've liked. They're nasty, mean little bastards. There's one that lives about a mile from us, and I sometimes encounter it on my walks. Whenever it's outside it will come running over to me barking a blue streak and acting like it's gonna bite my ankles. Luckily for that dog, I like the little old lady who owns him. Otherwise I'd kick his puny ass..haha. Seriously, though, if that dog ever does bite me, it WILL get kicked--nice owner or not.

Sadly that is usually the case with dog owners (not the dogs fault IMO). I have met wonderfully behaved Pit bulls that were as friendly as the day is long and breeds that were traditionally considered "friendly", like Labs, etc. that have been horrendous.
The dog is the product of their environment. Clearly Max is the product of a caring and attentive owner. The Chihuahua, on the other hand, is a reflection of the bitch that owns it.
BTW, in response to you previous post... I'll try my best not to fall in love with ya honey, my wife wouldn't like that... Lust on the other hand... She might like that one okay... 'specialy on TLD!

I agree with this.A breed doesnt make a dog.The enivornment it is living in and the way it is brought up totally makes a dog personallity.
When Chewy was still around.He was a very timid little dog that was raised in a condo.So no interaction with any other dogs or animals.We would hold his pee forever tha tis how good he was and goes to show where he was brought up.LOL.
All dogs scared the crap outta him...It took me a long time to get him use to other dogs and such and not be such a chicken.But people would always their dogs off leash and never make them back own when my poor lil lasoaspo (cant spell) chitso cross (tiny lil lap dog) was cowarding in the corner.I hate how alot of dog owners are raising their dogs and how alot of them think that rules are beyond them.
Good for you for takin in a pitbull and training it to be well behave and so on.
Not enough people care about training their dogs and having them act decently.

I can't wait until one day I can have a puppy too... Fuck kids, I'm probably never having them. I get enough experience from all my friend's little ones... My current landlord doesn't allow pets and with my busy schedule I probably wouldn't be the best doggie-daddy, so I shall wait until it's a better time for me

I think it's true with most breeds that the owner makes the dog. however, in the case of chihuahuas, I think they are inherently nasty little buggers. I can tell you the one on my walks is owned by a very nice old lady who does not train it to be nasty or treat it badly--she adores the damn thing. I think it's kinda like the bantam cock syndrome--they are so damn small that they feel they have to make a lot of noise to either a) get noticed or b)scare off anyone they feel could kick their ass (which is pretty much everyone..lol. My cat could kick a chihuahua's ass).

Word, my mom and step dad are having marital difficulties regarding money and it ain't pretty! Thank GAWD Barre lets me live in his house, otherwise I'd have to move in with them *shudder* nah, nah--I'd hit up my boyfriend before I'd hit up my parents, LOL!
