Hey everyone,

thank you so much for dropping in. So I'll just give you a little rundown as to what's been going on the past couple of days. As most of you know, I was last in Hawaii for my grandfather's funeral. (February '06) Being as the staff never bothered to plant grass on my grandfather's burial site, my mom and dad took it upon themselves to redo the entire area. Every weekend they would go down to fertilize, reseed, etc.

Yesterday my grammy called crying hysterically. It seems the cemetary staff ruined my grandfather's plot. We rushed down to the site and I couldn't believe my eyes. All of the hard work put into making my grandfather's grave was demolished. Not only that, they threw his headstone just anywhere. Also... my grandfather was a veteran of war. His American flag was tossed in the mud. Right now, I'm heading down to the cemetary to speak to someone of the matter.

Your homecoming story was so wonderful and made me cry (happy tears for you and your family)! I am so glad that you are having such a good visit with your loved ones.

I could not believe what the cemetary allowed to happen to your grandfather's grave. I hope that you were able to talk to someone and get them to make it right!!!! Seriously, what the hell....I can't even imagine what anyone was thinking. And it pisses me off!!!

Hope your fetish/goth event was a blast and I can't wait to see the pics! *hugs* and Merry Christmas to ya!
 
OMG, Sheryl!! That is just awful. I would lose it if someone did that to my grandpa's grave. Go kick some ass for Grandpa, girl!

I'm loving the quote from Griswold Christmas. God I love that movie! We watch it every year--at least once..haha. My fav scene is when Cousin Eddie's emptying the sewer line from the RV into the gutter--standing there in his short robe with his big white legs blinding people, and the cigar dangling on his lips, waving to the uptight neighbors. Cracks me up everytime I see it. :santa:

Hope you got things straightened out with the cemetary, and had a great Christmas with your family. How's Sean doing without you?
 
Cemetary Update

Thank you everyone for dropping in to read the following bullshit. Just to update, I went down with grammy and mom to the cemetary to speak with a certain person named Miles. If you think I'm outspoken, you really need to see my mom in action. She could make you bust out in tears after a minute of talking to you. She's badass like that. haha Anyways, mom spoke with Miles and explained the whole situation. This was his reason, "The sod was removed because your father's grave sunk." Bullshit. My grandpa's graveyard was leveled off by mom and dad. They spent ~$300 on the sod placed on the site. Mom went off and told him that she wanted it fixed ASAP.

Miles told us we'll drive to grandpa's site, so she can tell the contractors what needs to be done. I swear to you, I had to hold mom back from beating the shit out of the contractors because according to them they were told by a young couple that the grass needed to be removed. WTF??? So mom blew up with, "Are you that fucking stupid??? So you're telling me that I can point to just any grave and say, 'You know, I don't like that grass on that plot over there, so go and remove it." I honestly had to grab mom with one hand and I had to grab grandma with the other, because she started to charge for the contractor. I have grandma yelling, "I'm going to grab your rake and shove it up your ass!!!!" Mom's professional... grandma... well, ummm... she's old school and will say anything on her damn mind.

Anyways, mom told him what needed to be done. If it wasn't done exactly how she wanted it, she threatened to get a lawyer. I was there when Miles verbally agreed to replacing the destroyed sod and whatnot. Honestly, I think mom's going to be heading to court. According to my Uncle, all they did was place seeds on the mud. We have to go back to the site to check it out. This time around, I'm taking dad just incase mom decides she wants to body slam someone. Bah.... All of this drama is such bullshit.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to drop into everyone's diaries, but I'll be back in January in full force. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Kimberly and Claudia, sorry I didn't call you girls.... I don't have a fucking voice. I've been ill. Bah.

So so sorry about the grampa's grave, those damn son of a bi.......... that just pisses me off. Some people have no respect for others, it's quite amazing to me some days. What pretty flowers all around it however, I thought those flowers were amazing. I watched a "lifetime" program the other day, it was set in Hawaii with some hot stud puppy from there, I'm going to find his pic and post it, man was he smoking hot, you didn't tell me that you had HOT ass guys in your area girly, you holding out on me OR WHAT?. LOL LOL I miss you so much!! But, I hope your having the time of your life! Still can't wait to see those great pics miss thang!!

Hey Sheryl. So sorry to read about all the trouble ya'll are having there. I hope they get it fixed back to the exact way it was before. I'm pretty sure since it was a contractor and someone other than the cemetary people told them to do this that it could come under vandalism, grave desecration or some other criminal charges but I might be mistaken. Might not hurt to mention that though if you are negotiating a proper repair and they give you shit :D
I hope you get to feeling better real soon!
