Ive decided to start a Journal to see if it can help me out, I wish I would have logged things before such as weightloss, excercise, etc. I think this will help in the long run to look back and see the progress Ive made.

I hit a long plateau but now I realize its because I was depriving myself of too many calories. So now im trying to slowly bump them up with healthy foods of course, hopefully ill be able to continue losing again soon and it wont have affected me much.

I am 5'2"
medium framed
Medical Condition: Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

HW: 280lbs
CW: 205lbs
GW1: 155lbs
GW2: 125lbs

Excersise:

So far today...
30 minutes belly dancing DVD
30 squats with 5lb weights
50 (the excersise where you bring both arms to your chest from an outward swing motion... I have no idea what these are called lol) with 5lb weights

Still have housework to do and will do the elliptical for 50 minutes at the gym tonight and maybe ill be able to add on about 5-10 minutes for the stairs (Ive just started on those... whew they are a challenge) and we'll see if I have enough stamina for about 20 minutes on the bike.

I wear a size 16 right now but they arent tight, and are kind of loose so hopefully, by the end of the month Ill be able to wear a 14... we'll see!

Im just fed up with being a fat person! Its disheartening because after losing 70lbs *I* dont notice much difference. Though at least I have lost all that weight and now when I do lose weight, what I do lose will make a bigger difference. Others do, which definitley helps... it would really be discouraging if no one noticed or said anything! lol ;)

Everyone on this board has really helped me to keep my motivation just by reading through posts and looking at before and afters, so Thank You all so much!

WOW a 70lbs weight loss is a lot to brag about!! Thats amazing give yourself a pack on the back for that intead of saying oh i have so much more to lose!! But I bet from here on out you'll notice every lb you lose!! It seems that after you get of the 200lbs the 10lbs makes a huge difference!! Just wanted to say good job!!

I did another 30 minute belly dancing workout today so thats 60 mins of belly dancing... kicks my butt every time but keeps me sweating! Now 30 mins at the gym tonight and Ill do it all over again tomorrow, lol. I think I need to find another dvd though so I dont get too burnt out on this one... ill have to remember to search for that.

Ok so true workouts were:

60 minutes Belly Dancing
35 squats +5lb weights
50 of the arm excersise +5lb weights
40 minutes on elliptical (3 miles)

At the weekend Ill do the gym twice a day 50 minutes each. And weekdays if I cant go to the gym twice,Ill go once and Ill do a DVD and try to up the strength training.

Last night me Husband went out and bought me a mini trampoline. I saw it and figured its cheap, and i had one when I was a little kid and loved it, so I thought it might be a good workout. He brought it home and then this morning my little 3 year old was sooooo excited! It also came with a workout dvd, and I just kinda shrugged it off, but I tried it and wow, it was an intense workout1 Very good and I can still def feel the burn. It was 45 mins long, so Im gonna do it again, because tonight I will not be able to go to the gym.


Workouts:

45 mins: Cardio + Circuit Training

Oh and in I will not fail's diary she was talking about how some ladies shes talked to had success with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, So Thank You, I just bought it off Target.com and im going to try it out when it gets here! Im trying to build up a bigger collection of workout videos that work me hard and that I like so I wont get bored doing the same one over and over. I really hope I can at least lose 1lb before the week is over... geez :/
 
I went ahead and added my food intake into fitday.com

I feel really discouraged because I thought I had eaten enough calories so far today as I know dinner cals will also be low, but when I put in everything I ate (custom so I was sure to know the nutrition amounts), Im still pretty low for the day. This is so frustrating because I dont want my body to be in starvation mode! Hopefully i can find something with dinner thats healthy and ups my calories a little.

The other night I ended up with 725 cals... I think it already jump started my metabolism because I saw this morning, I had lost 3lbs! Yay!!! I hope it continues! I am slowly moving my cals up btw.

Yesterday I did the 45 minutes of trampoline excercise, it is such a workout. Then another 50 on the elliptical. I ran faster on that last night than usual and I can feel it in my thighs, my big problem areas.

I also got some new clothes since I only had one shirt and one pair of Jeans that fit lol. It felt so nice to be able to get clothes from the regular side!

Once I get down into the 100's my next reward is extensions! Ive had them before and am totally excited to get them again. Im not sure where I want to be when I get them, Ill have to figure that one out... somewhere in the 100's though.

I really just need to be rich because shopping is my favorite thing to do! ;) Anyways thanks again to everyone on this site, if i wouldnt have found it, id still be stuck in my pateau!

It seems to me that you are good. I'm glad your planning to move your calories up gradually. I did that for a while (ate a small ammount of calories). Some people say you do into a starving state and your body holds onto the mass that you have. My trainer and nutritionist agree and raised me to 1500-1700 calories a day, which as you may know allows for a lot of healthy food.

Interesting exercise routines you have. Belly dancing and trampoline. Dont hear about those too often. Great work!

Hi Italian Lady, I was just reading your diary and about to leave a comment when I saw you stopped by mine. Thank you for the sweet compliment, it's funny for me because each time someoen tells me I'm attractive in any way it brings me back to my jr. year of high school when I was around 190 pounds and a guy turns to me looks me strait in the eyes and says "You know, Brandi if you would just lose weight youd be beautiful!" LOL I took no offense and told him he would marry a bigger girl one day, which in the end he did. : D

I soooo wish I could try the trampoline work out! Now that sounds like fun. : D You are such a hard worker, it's very obvious. So much weight in such a short time and working out. Please send your workout vibes to me. :gnorsi:

I know what you mean! I feel the exact same way when I hear that.... Ive heard that same line before myself! Thank You, im just tired of being like this, I want my life back! :) I will send tons of workout vibes to you~
 
Its been awhile since I posted in here, I didnt even realize it. Im down to 199lbs but Ive lost 24.1 inches this month! I measured everything from my head to my ankles. I wanted to make sure I could see any change that took place and I even saw changes in my ankles and neck. Im glad I did that, it really is a good motivator. I can wear regular size 16s with no problem. I have a small 16 thats pretty much a 14, and I can almost fit into them.
Ive been going to the gym at least 100 minutes and today I went for 2 hours. Im going to keep that going everyday.

Down to 182, with a loss of over 100lbs... alright! I hope I keep losing at a good pace. I dont know exactly how many inches ive lost since Jan but I did lose a whole inch off my face! lol those 16/14's are getting really loose now! time for a smaller 14 maybe even big 12! Ive kept up going to the gym for 2 hours a day and I see the best results with that, so im going to keep doing it. I feel a lot better, but still... fat lol I just cant wait to look "normal" if that makes sense. I would post pictures but I hate putting pictures of myself out into the internet... maybe sometime lol
