I would like to lose enough weight to be healthy and fit, athletic.

I have No Time frame I want my weight loss to become a life style.

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
Im Not sure mostly exercise, and changing what I eat and quitting smoking

Im the only one that can support me, its changing a life time of habit with in.
Support I will gain through this forum and maybe from physical activity's I join in the future.

-- How realistic is your goal? Very.

-- When will you start? ON Monday with small steps. No more rubbish foods.
Current weight 70kgs

Height 5 Foot 6
wanted weight 50 KGS
Wanting to lose weight to gain energy, and look and feel gud.

My only Obstacle has always been myself.

I have a weight problem through years of being lazy and its easier to eat crap than to watch what I eat.
I think after having seven sons I fell into a trap, of being a mum and forgot who I was.
great being a Mum but lost myself.

Life style changes for me would be stopping smoking, wearing make up, and girly things, eating well and spending my time out side and not watching TV etc.

Have you lost weight in the past? ( Yes)If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? It wasn't good I was only 44 Kgs and skin and bones never again. It was medical related the weight loss and loss of appetite
Only ate on piece of bread a a day for 4 months and water. Bad Bad idea, almost died.


Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time? Yes.
Do you cook at home often? (YES) If so, what do you cook?
I cook foods that are fattening.

What are your three favorite foods? KFC, Cheesecake, Eggs
If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
LOL I would have abbs, and be muscular in a feminine way, all over.
Every thing tight. Toned.
Do you eat when you are not hungry? YES
Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)NO
Do you hide your food or eat in secret? NO
Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed? NO
Do you eat as a reward? Yes lol

Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer? Yes
. What do you normally eat for a meal? meat lamb,pork,beef,mashed spuds. Chicken all roasted, or fried etc. peas, mixed vegs.
What type of snacks do you eat? chippies, cheese toasties, lollies ice cream

In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? walk children to school.

What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise? just one dancing
30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? Not sure yet, my kids really.

Do you have rewards for certain goals? Not yet

Welcome to your diary and to WLF!
Read the stickies and try to get an idea of who much you want to eat, what you want to exercise and how often, etc...
This is a wonderful resource for most of us and it really helps me stay in line most days. While I learn to be accountable for myself I am accountable to my diary type thing, I don't want to post embarrassing thing in there.

50 kg for a 5'6 body is quite low, Iam aiming for 55kg with 5'5, but kind of secretly hoping for 53 ;)! But also I will see how I look and feel on the way, if at 57 I look right, then I will maintain there. It doesn't need to be a number we focus on but a feeling.

True about the feeling as long as its all toned ill be happy. lol,
Going to take some time, I think the Gym is the first place to give it a shot, altho dancing is alot of fun.
 
I don't think its how many, raising children is a mission no matter what the number lol, I found going from 1 to 7 the same when it comes to stress, and well our poor body's really take a beating..On that note I'm 37, and well my body is worn, tried, old. Well before my time.
Perhaps we all feel like this?
some days I feel like maybe I'm no longer attractive, my thoughts on that relate to my relationship.
Or perhaps its just that when with some one for a long period of time there are no butterfly's, lol.
Then I ask myself is it me? Who knows all I can do now is change me and see what happens.
 
your the same age as I am but you are a fair bit taller.

Its a great age thats for sure :)

Today I went for my normal walk, dropped the incredible short people off to school, and sped up my step home, only to realize that One midget had left their bag at home lol,
So back to the school to drop of the gear, lol and back home in real need of a shower.

Have added press ups to my daily exercise.

Also took myself to the beach, its a fair hike, was going to have a swim to increase my exercise, but felt very fat a wobbly. And just couldn't get down to shorts and bikini top.

So back home, after sitting there thinking about how far I have come.
Once upon a time I couldn't see my toes if I was standing. Or reach my foot.
My weight loss has really been the last 8 years since the last short fellow.

It goes up up up and then down down down.
Why can't I just keep in control of my weight.
I don't like the feeling of my weight, it slows me down.
It stops me from enjoying Life and effects my confidence.

So I will continue to get rid of it. But how does one keep it off?

Ya know, bad as it sounds, when I want to feel better about my body, I just go to a water park. Trust me, after a day there, I feel darn near svelte and more apt to take my shirt off. :smilielol5::smilielol5:
