the ankle but have gotten a little more banged up than i thought. Its still swollen pretty bad. It only hurts if i twist it a certain way so i still don't think its broken. just sprained. I'll live im sure. Thanks!

From your pic you look like a thin dude so i wasnt sure if you were looking more so toward healthly eating, muscle building, etc.... just wanted to check in!!!

Thanks! I cover the flab up well lol. I am looking to lean down at first then put on a little more lean muscle. I've not be on much lately. I screwed up my foot about 2 weeks ago and have been pretty slack. Its much better and I'm back to the gym tomorrow. How have u been?

Well here we are on another monday. I'll start out by telling my oops story for the weekend. I have been doing fairly well on my diet then Sunday it happened lol. I had to help one of my coworkers move into her new house so i was thinking "hey, great cardio moving stuff up and down two flights of stair." I wrapped up my ankle, threw on my hiking boots and went to work. I ate a bowl of plain oatmeal for breakfast and felt GREAT! We work all day moving and as I'm about to leave she offers to buy me dinner for helping. Sure! Lets go to subway!!! She didn't go for it and said she would rather have chinese. Me being the pushover, i said sure. Next thing i know, I'm mealing down on some noodles and sesame chicken. Oh well it's a new week and I'll just have to do a little more cardio!

well you know my fave is gonna be the last one! As for "catching up" lol. Im going to do a lot more than that so you better be ready! Its day thre of my week back and Ive had no diet cheating. i've ran 3 miles everyday and the ankle is feeling good!
 
Diet cheating? Why would you have diet cheating to begin with? What're you going to do when you reach your goal weight..be on a diet some more? Or end that...but if you end that wouldn't that be like diet cheating?

Or like is it by that time our bodies are sooo used to working out consistently, that we what? Just burn this food?:willy_nilly:

Glad to hear your ankle is better, I was having medial knee pain, but than I bought some great runner's and pain no more!!! WOOT!

Oh P.S. As I suspect I won't be in the top 5 for very much longer anyhow because I can only lose so much weight, which is another 10 lbs to my goal weight, and than it's over for me. and that's only 17.33%, the bigger ppl will lose well over that. Percentage wise.
 
i typically try to have a "cheat" meal once a week. When i get to my desired weight i'm hoping to switch over to a maintance diet. I'm really needing to quit looking at it as a "diet" and start looking at it as a lifestyle. I don't think the contest is based on weight only so you or anyone else could still win. Course that would mean you would have to beat me!
 
Oh of course, I will still be winning in my own right, but that's not what I mean by that, as so many ppl keep mis-interpreting and since the rules have been bent and seem to be bending and the challenge has now changed. It was three strikes and you're out, now it's three strikes, but still come and go as you please...so I am determined to not have one strike, stay off of the thread as much as possible, pick up some great tips, and maintain, and still eat whatever I want, just about whenever I want. Cuz it seems "thee old Metabolism" has kicked back in.

well you can beat me anytime...oh wait lol oops. I'm not sure bout the contest. I'm just gonna keep doing my thing and hope for the best lol. It might take me more than just one set of pics to get a six pack but oh yeah. I will get them!
 
well I'm finally in the new store and settled. I actaully have my own desk here! I should be able to be more active on the board again!

well guys. its been a while. Im finally getting settled in my new job. I've been considering getting into becoming a personal trainer as a hobby. My weight has been up and down with the stresses of work. I'm not going to complain at all since I am lucky enough to have a wonderful job I enjoy going to everyday. Since the release of the new iPhone in combination with transering to a new store, life has been super busy. I have a vacation to new york coming at the begining of August so i am going to start a low carb diet for a month. I normally don't care for these since the weight is usually quick to come back but as a quick fix they work well. Hope all of you are doing well!
