I tried to access the announcement thread however I get an error below:

itransformed, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I see that some people have a member ranking and some have a registered user ranking. Is this the reason? How do you become a member?
 
the user titles are handled by the server software. they changed from junior member/senior member to registered user some time in 2005.

That should not keep you from accessing the announcements. I would send a message to grandeur_69 regarding this.

I wonder if everyone else has this problem, if so , the permissions for that user group is messed up, thanks for bringing this to my attention, ill dig further.
 
Same here

It tells me to log in and I know that I am already. So what I do is save my post and then log in , that doesnt work ,(because I am already logged in) ,so I go back ( arrow at top of tray) and double click on the post tray on replies and that usaully works. Hope that helps!
 
Yea i tried to post on announcements didnt let me :/ didnt really care tho lol thought my rank wasnt high enough?
 
yea I think admins and mods are the only ones who have posting priveleges, but anyone should be able to read it.
