MellowGAman New Journey

OK, I been working out for a little over a year now.....I was showing some very positive results.

Well I guess I crashed, went into a funk, got caught up with family life, etc...About 4 weeks ago, and I have not worked out, ate like CRAP (McDonalds, Burger king,) etc....you know the sob story people.....

I was going to start again this past monday, but my wife had to work 14 hours Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I coach soccer, and Friday she was working another 14 hours, So I have to get home to the kids on Mon and Fri...so basically shot my plans to hell, since we have a gym at work and I work out after doing my job.

So looking in the mirror, seeing my gains disappear and my stomach re-emerging....Well sick of looking in the mirror.... :mad:

Then during the week I came across this story of this lady named Jen that was 300Lbs at the age of 27 and got to 120Lbs (size 4) by the age of 30 and is now a Trainer herself.....Posted her story on the "articles" sub-header. I shared her great story with every person I know that is trying to get into shape.

So Starting on Monday, I am getting rid of the junk, Moving into the full health style, working out....Moving on.... I am pumped, I am excited, I am ready to get back into the groove.

Time to start the Journey again, time to get back into gear and stop feeling like crap.

Let's begin....

Today's Breakfast is a Oatmeal and Honey Bagel with Smart Balance Chunky Peanut Butter and two cups of coffee with Splenda and Skim milk.
 
Day 1

Ok Yesterday was the first day of the Journey...

Breakfast was a Oatmeal and honey Bagel with Natural Peanut butter and omega3 2 cups of coffee with Skim milk and Spenda

Lunch was Romaine lettuce with chicken breast and Oil and Vinegar. water to drink

Banana for snack Water to drink

Did my NROL Hypertrophy III work out A Glass of water with Creatine

Went home had myself another salad with Oil and vinegar and made a full chicken breast with Ginger and sesame marinade (Yummy0

Had 1 Protein shake, plus another glass of skim milk

Went to bed.... :sleeping:


Today sore..... :)
 
OK here we go with Day 2 results...

No workout, day off...

Breakfast....Whole wheat english Muffin with Natural peanut butter. 2 coffee with skim mik and Spenda

Lunch... Salad and Chicken with Oil and Vinegar water to drink

Snack Whole wheat muffin with Peanut butter water to drink

Dinner Cheeseburger and a Dr. Pepper :( my bad. :mad:

Grapes and Apples for Snack with some water
 
No I am eating plenty for my body type, I was going to have a protein shake last night but I got caught up in some house work and wanted water instead.

I usually ahve a good size lunch My salad and Chicken are a good size, niot huge, not to small.

But for snacks I want to stay with fruits and Veggies if I can. I like having Peanut butter on whole wheat or some other multi grain bread. I also ahve some ceral to eat, But I like my coffee.

I will drink some Creatine Daily as well as at least 1 hopefully 2 protein shakes per day.

I also have a multi vitamin and Fish oil caps to take after lunch.

Over my 4 week "break" my stomach went a bit out" so in no rush to "bulk up, but working into it.

NROL Hyp III "B" work out looks exciting, I will do that today after work. Looks fun, all new exercises I have not tried before. Hopefully I am sore tomorrow.

OK,

Breakfast: Whole wheat English Muffin with Natural Chunky Peanut butter, with 3 cups of Coffee with Skim Milk and splenda.

For Lunch I had Chicken with Romaine Lettuce, Oil and Vinegar. Water

A couple of red seedless grapes. Water

I did my NROL Hyp III Work out B today!!! First time doing these exercises and the guys in the gym looked at me strange, these two guys usually work out same time I do, and they do the same exact exercises day after day with little or no progress. But I did my stuff. ......Water

I had some Creatine and a Protein shake after my workout.

I got home and had to wait for my daughters Girl scout meeting to finish up, so I decided while waiting to have a bowl of Chicken and Rice Healthy choice brand soup to hold me over.

Then for Dinner I had A chicken breast with garlic and herbs, with Corn and a slice of texas toast.

That is all. :sleeping:
 
OK, yesterdays meals...

I had my Whole wheat English Muffin with Natural peanut butter and 2 cups of coffee with Skim milk and Splenda. OK maybe 3 cups.

Then I had my Romaine lettuce with Chicken with Oil and Vinegar for lunch ( i just love this meal) with water to drink...

I had a hand ful of grapes as a "dessert" i need something sweet after the balsamic vinegar. So I go with red Seedless grapes.....with water.

I had A protein shake with Creatine added to it. Skim milk as the mixer. Taste Yummy.

I coach two of my childrens soccer teams, so from 6PM to 8:30PM I am running around with the children, so I get a little movement around in my body burn some extra calories.

I got home around 9PM, So I cooked up 3 eggs and ate them with a while grain Pita with Cheddar cheese sprinled in, plus two glasses of Skim milk.

So there you have it.
 
Well the weekend we had our Annual Halloween bash, so I ate and drank as I pleased :) but it wasn't to bad.


Anyway, back ont he workout wagon on monday, had English muffin with Natural peanut butter, 3 cups of coffee with Spenda and Whole milk.

then Lunch romaine lettuce with Chicken and oil and balsamic vinegar. plus shreaded cheese.

then I did my NROL Hypo III A work out....

had a glass of Protein shake with Skim milk and Creatine added to it.

For Dinner I had 2 pieces of breaded Pork chop (no bone lean cut) with mix veggies (carots, corn, green bean and Lima bean)

drank water all day long as usual. usually about 3-4 liters a day.

I am sore today from my workout yesterday :)

feels good to be back!

Breakfast...

Honeywheat English muffin with Natural Peanut butter and 3 cups of coffee with Splenda in skim milk.

no snack...

Lunch was Chicken salad with Romain lettuce and Oil and Balsamic vinegar. With Water.

had Daily vitamin, 2 Fish capsules, with Protein shake and creatine full glass of skim milk.

no snack...no hungry.

Dinner was Whole wheat pasta with Roasted Green and red peppers with Marinaria sauce and some cheese bread. With Skim milk to drink.

Had some water through the night.

No snack...

Lunch: Romaine lettuce with grilled chicken, cheddar cheese and oil and balsmic vinegar. Water to drink

Snack: 1 apple and water.

Did my Hypo III work out B routine.....good stuff ..... liter of water

A glass of skim milk, whey protein powder and Creatine

Dinner: 3 slices of home made pizza and some water.

water...

Lunch was Roamine lettuce with Grilled Chicken with cheddar cheese and Balsamic vinegar and oil. Water to drink.

Apple for snack Protein shake with Creatine and skim milk.

Had to coach/teach my 5 year old soccer team, water to drink.

Had a Healthy Choice Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Green beans. water to drink.

Merciless, I appreciate the thoughts, my Surgery is "elective" so it is nothing major. Just have to take a break from lifting after it is done for a few weeks
 
Well, I can start working out again today, the DR gave the ok after the surgery went well. All is good.

So doing the whole diet and will work out again today, but will take it easy since first time back.
