This last week has been a tough one for me and unfortunatlly...I was laid off from my job....well the whole company actually! The mortgage company i worked for closed its doors last wed. and wed at 930 am my boss called the dept into her office and said we are free to go and we need to go and pack up our desks and come back friday to pick up our checks! :( ......It was so sad and not only that but all of my friends i worked with, so of course we all went down to the bar and began to drink....and two 22oz. coors lights later i was feeling like my whole diet was ruined...well i told myself its ok i will get back on track...but one bad meal after another has led me to gain most of my weight back. ....and it just kills me. i should have known better that my 3weeks of weightloss i could put back on in just a week. but anyway I am back and being away from this site made me realize just how important you all are.....the motivation is key and I need to really make a plan this time...and of course get a job would be great too. also i am thinking about going back to weight watchers....i wanted to see who goes to the meetings and who does the online thing and which of you WW members think is a better idea!?

Hey, everyone slips from time to time. Even if you had loads of bad stuff in a week, it's never to late to get back on track, and after a while you'll see that it wasn't as bad as it seemed. Everything gets better eventually, and it will for you too :)

Hi Megz!

Don't get yourself down for a bad week; just start over.:) Easier said than done, but you're here, asking for support. That's a big step right there!

I joined Weight Watchers online, but have never been to a meeting, so I don't know which is better. I like the online features though:)

Megz,
I'm sorry to hear about the job - but you will find another, and the weight you regained can come off.

It's never too late to climb back on the wagon!

Welcome back

Welcome back! I tried the WW Online and really liked it, quit only because the point system for the whole program was confusing for me. I've never been to a meeting either but a friend of my mom's swears by them. Good Luck!!

thanks for all the support and advice.....I was just talking to my mom and her friend from work has been on the Lindora program...she swears by it..and has lost 50 lbs in about 4 months! I know it is a little more then the healthy 2 lbs per week but still great success...I was just looking through the website and it seems like a pretty good program..I just wanted to see if anyone else has done Lidora or are curently on it and how it is going??? :)
