Meal suggestions/Plans

hey guys, im new to all of this and please excuse me if this has already been answered a thousand times....feel free to refer me to another forum/post etc!!

Im 20, weigh 7stone10 (which i think is about 100Llbs??!) and im 5ft4' in height. im trying to tone up for the summer...my problem areas being my hips!! on previous posts people suggest that i change my diet, to 4-6 meals a day along with varied exercise....this sounds great but im clueless as to what these meals can consist of and how big the portions should be (im not a big eater most of the time!) are there any helpfull snacks? im a great fan of nuts and seeds but i never know when to eat them etc!
my WORST downfall is alcohol! (as im a student) i love a glass of wine and a few gin and tonics!! are there any low calorie alcohol drinks that you can recommend?!!

any help would be much appreciated!!
thanks for reading,
Lucy xx :)

Lucy-

What I usually try and do is to have 1 small serving of protien and 1 small serving of complex carb every few hours. There are lots of choices and I don't know your food preferences, but some ideas include...

tuna with crakers
oatmeal and protien powder
egg whites and grapes or fuit of your choice
scrambled mexican egg whites and whole grain toast
egg whites, FF cheese melted and served on a piece of whole grain toast
egg white omlet w/ FF cheese
protien drink with fruit either seperately or together as a smoothis
BBQ chicken breast on 1 piece whole grain toast with raw carrots or broccoli or caulifower
a stir fry with chicken, pork or lean beef with a vegetable like broccoli or zucchini, served over rice or barley
chicken breast cold and cubed, mix with FF sour cream and guacamole and tomatoes, serve in Whole grain or LC tortilla
Shrimp sauteed in BBQ sauce, mixed with corn or over mashed potatoes.......the list goes on, just mix your favorite protein and carbs, keep the portions SMALL, throw in some vegetables and VIOLA!

Another idea is to check out some of the diaries, you'll find lots of ideas for menu planning and workouts!

Hope that helps,

Sandy
