Me vs. my pops

My dad is going to test for his 4th degree black in tae kwon do in March of 2007. He has to do a sword form along with a sword defense demenstration, and a self defense without weapons against a large group. Now it isn't a dilema but more of looking for advice. My dad was going to have me help with the sword self-defense, I was in tae kwon do for about 8 years, but then wasn't able to continue due to school and work among other things. He wants me to help with the sword and then as the group self defense is coming to an end, he wants me to come out in all black (maybe mask, skull cap w/ face paint, something) and then go toe-to-toe. The Group demenstration will be most likely choregraph'd but he and I will go unscripted.

My dad and I love a good fight/challenge, we can't stop but smile and laugh when we think about sparring each other. My dad is 6'1" and about 240 pounds, and he likes to get hit, he's pretty big, strong, deceptive, somewhat fast, but also, how shall we say, he's got a little extra coushin. I'm about his height, maybe a fraction taller, 173 pounds on a bad day, lanky, kinda lean, long legs and arms, I love the roundhouse.

Where i need advice is that I feel like i've gotten weak and slow in the last couple years that I took off, and all I really want to do is make not only my dad look good, but then also put on a good show. ALRIGHT ALRIGHT, maybe even try to out do my dad, I know most of his tricks, but I haven't sparred him in years, so I need something new, something that will catch him off guard, I don't want to spar him until the day of the testing...

So any help with greatly appreciated,

Give advice, criticism, whatever you think, Thanks!

Sorry, is this a grading or a show?

It is a grading, but after the grading part of it (the group defense), its just going to be my dad and I, so it will be a show (a good one at that) but it'll be more for my dad and I than anyone else.
