Weight-Loss May - June 20 Weight Loss Challenge: How Much Can You Lose by Start of Summer?

Hi I'm new here so I really don't know what I'm doing? But this looks like a great place to get support. I need to be accountable to someone, instead of trying to lose weight on my own. I'm recovering from Total Knee Replacement so I can't be real active yet, but I am doing physical therapy now, so that does help. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.:) What's this challenge all about??
 
Hey guys and gals, just checking in. I've only lost one lb. since last week, but that's ok with me cause I've really been working out and I know the weight it turning to muscle. Anyway, a lot of you are really kickin' it! Keep up the good work!
 
Maaaan, I'm afraid of what my weigh-in will be on tuesday. I've had the munchies all week lol, I can't seem to stop snacking. And it's all on the bad stuff! Chips, cookies, chocolate, popcorn...:eek: But I've been exercising faithfully everyday. I'm trying to be strong!:rolleyes:
 
:) Alrighty I am excited! I weighed in today at 135. I am back to where I can start getting back on track. Woohooo. I don't know how much that is down from when I started butI do know that I won't reach my goal but hey at least it's something! Have a great day everyone!:p
 
I've lost nothing this week. I saw a doctor today to discuss my diet and he suggested a bunch of different ones, like the zone or south beach. That was frustrating. I don't know what to do. :(
 
CrissyB. You need to take a chill pill and acknowledge what you have accomplished so far. In 3 and a half weeks since joining this challenge, you have lost 15 lbs, an astounding 9% of your starting body weight. You have not only reached your summer goal 2 weeks early, but you are leading this challenge. There is nothing for you to be disappointed about. Just relax and continue with what you're doing. It will be normal to have a little plateau, after having lost 15 lbs in only 3 and a half weeks. You're doing great!

My final weigh in is 169, same as last week. The sart of this challenge was the first time in a long time that I actually put effort into loosing weight (its hard, lol), and it has paid off, 11 pounds! I didnt reach my goal, but this challenge was a great motivator, my next goal is going to be more realalistic though. :)
 
congrats to all who made their goal and also to everyone who even lost one pound! I didn't do so well, but I'll do better next time!
 
I didn't want to jump into this challenge late, so I didn't get to participate but I am really really hoping that we will do another weight loss challenge that will start soon. I NEED the challenge for motivation.
 
Can we get the rest of the weigh ins? Anyone with a ? by your name on page 1, I don't have a current weight for you. I guess for whoever hasn't responded by the end of the week, I will assume you dropped out.
