:svengo:AMAZING!!! And I love how you have worked so hard to change the rest of your life, and find yourself again. :Angel_anim: It sounds like you have really grown through your journey - and weight loss was just a part of it. The catalyst, perhaps. I can relate!

Best wishes on the rest of your goals!

Thank you all so much. I've said it before somewhere on this site, maybe in my diary, but this site is full of so many people who truly care and very few who don't. If any of you feel like you are losing motivation I encourage you to come to this site and look again at so many of the awesome success stories.

I took perhaps too long of a break after vacation last month but thankfully another member's journal/diary gave me the inspiration I needed to crank up my efforts into high gear again. I've lost 3.5 lbs in the past week and I am hoping to lose another 2 lbs this week. I want to reach a new low ASAP and keep on going until I reach my final goal of 10% body fat. Maybe I just needed a short break. Whatever the case, I am once again ready to make a strong push. The last week at the gym has been wonderful and I almost forgot how great it feels to truly bust your butt at the gym and eat super healthy all day long.

I think diet is the key to weight loss and exercise is the key to giving your body the look you want. Nothing original about that thought, just telling you what I believe.

I did reach a new low of 193.0 yesterday.

189 was my original goal weight when I first started my journey a little over a year ago because I thought that is what it would take to get to 10% body fat. I am now thinking 185 but I will post updated photos in this thread when I reach 189.

I hope everyone else is still working hard and not giving up. Remember, its a marathon not a sprint.

Awesome dude!! Keep going!! like you i lost motivation after i got back from vacation.. i didnt lift for a good month and a half.. but th last 3-4 weeks i have picked back up were i left off!! So i can relate to you!! lets keep the ball rollin buddy!

Good to hear Matt. I think sometimes we just need a break as long as we don't let ourselves go too much and try to keep the time off to a minimum.

The race to a six pack is on buddy. :D

I missed this post while I was avoiding the board ;)
