patience is a good word..i like that...i am going to use it...

i dont have an ipod but i would love to have one...i have an rca mp3 which i love..well the little usb port on it broke off a few weeks ago and while i still can listen to it, i can no longer plug it in and listen to it on my computer..that made me angry too..............i love my music.....

i have kid rock too..same damn 2 songs...actually i have his rebel without a cause cd...and Eminem...I think eminem is hilarious..his lyrics make me laugh out loud...bawitaba is the best damn workout song ever...that is the ultimate eliptical song.

Oh I also like Hate Me by Blue October....some old Zeppelin and ELO...and well...Michael Buble...that song Home...I love that song..cuz my dtr had her first solo to it....

Well, here I am for what seems like my weekly update.

I start my third week of my lifting program. This is an 8 week program and I really am enjoying it. Like i said before, i need patience. Do as the program says and I will be fine.

My eating this weekend wasnt the best. We went to an amusement park this weekend with the family. It was such a great time. Really feels good to go on the rides I once avoided because of my weight. I didnt eat bad while at the park. No "park" food, which was good. We did go out for pizza at night and i had 3 slices.

My plan for the week is to really bust my hump. I want to have a good week because I'm sure the coming holiday weekend wont be the best. :beerchug: I just have to remember it's all about balance.

Also, i really am thinking about joining a gym closer to home. I work out at lunch so i belong to a gym near my work. It's just too far to drive on weekends. I'm thinking of a gym that's cheap and right next to my house. The way I look at it is, if i use it 5 times a month it's worth it. I just hate not working out on the weekends. We'll see.

GOAL FOR THE WEEK: Eat clean and spot on with the calories Monday thru Thursday.

I felt great today. Cant wait for my leg workout tomorrow.

I had a great 4th of July weekend. Got a little tipsy on Saturday. I started drinking tequlia and probably shouldnt have. Oh well, had a lot of fun and enjoyed myself. I woke up Sunday morning and was hungover but was able to rally and went to the Red Sox with the family. My daughter had such a good time. My dad also came along and he hasnt been to Fenway Park in a long time. I could tell he had fun.

My workouts are still going well and can feel i am making progress. I have gotten stronger and my shirts are fitting different. I guess this will turn into a rant. :rant: No matter what i do i hate the way clothes fit. When i was heavy clothes didnt fit right. Now i lost weight and clothes still dont fit right. Large shirts dont fit right in the shoulders and XL shirts dont fit right around the midsection. It's like i can't win. I hate it. Rant over.


Havent done much cardio lately because i have been strength training. This will only be a few more weeks then i will add some back in. Actually looking forward to getting on the stair climber again.

Thanks for coming in and supporting me in my place. Sometimes I kinda get busy and forget to pop in elsewhere. You've been a good friends here though, 'specially with the whole wifely surgery support.

Tequila, hmm? Yummy, we are closely acquainted from past meetings, tequila and I. Not always for the right reasons. In fact tequila has introduced me to one of his friends a time or two. Perhaps you've met his pal porcelain bowl? I know we've been introduced...

How are you>??????????????? Someone told me today I should just forget about the number on the scale and focus on the way my clothes fit. Funny but I think I look good in a mirror but someone takes a pic of me and I look like shit (still feel huge)....i am sure its alot mental.....conditioned myself to hate the way I look. But the hubby is more touchy feely so that should tell me something ;-)

So something cool happened this week. I started out my weightloss journey under doctors care in a weightloss program. They did an excellent job and really helped me build a great foundation for when i left the program. After losing my weight I have gone back several times to talk with the new people in the program to show that it can be done. There are no miracle drugs, pills, fads just hard work, exercise and eating right.

I always liked going back because it's just my way to say thanks for them helping me. So i went back this week and was talking to the leader of the program, she said that the people in the program always love when i come in. She has been talking with her boss and then told me they are going to start paying me for my time. So now i will be getting a check everytime i go in. It wasnt my intentions to get paid but it feels good.
