Marine Corps Workout Plan?

I'm getting ready for USMC bootcamp in a few months, and came up with a fitness plan and was looking for some input. Don't say "look at the stickies" because I don't have an entire gym to work with, just a pair of dumbells & a 45lb plate.

Monday
1 mile run
120 pushups - 20 diamond, 20 clap, 20 wide grip, the rest normal
110 crunches - normal, straight leg, 90 degree, bicycle,
40 dead horses
v sit
a couple one minute stabilizers

Wednesday
1 mile run
126 single leg squats
curls
2 minute wall sit

Friday
Pull ups
hand stand push ups
dips

Off days
1 mile run
yoga cards

Any ideas on improving it? More bicep excercises? Any muscle groups missing maybe I should add sprints?

Mountain climbers, burpees, one leg squats with weight, squats with push plate overhead, waist plate lifts to side, etc.

Get creative, dont think about how you would move at a gym, think about how you would move in real life. Use those dumbells for 1 arm exercises: snatches, overhead squats, shoulder press, 1 legged row, etc.

You can do it.

I would do some longer runs. Maybe 2-3 miles a couple of times a week and 4-6 miles once a week. The Corps is most interested in endurnace, at least they were back when I went to boot camp (1974)!

How many handstand pushups and pullups can you do? I would do those every every exercise session. Those 2 exercises alone are a full upper body workout, especially if you can do 10+ or each, 2 or 3 sets. If you can't do that many do as many as you can wait 3 minutes and repeat until you do 24+ total reps.

Good luck.

yeah I would do more running, because I'm with the ccf (combined cadet force) which effectivly trains us and gives us the opputunity to join the armed forces when we're old enough (with a massive headstart) but we're normally do 5km+ runs most times we go. So I would work more on cardio than you are at the moment
