Well good morning!

It’s 10am in Montreal, it seems like I haven’t been on where for weeks. Well its been since Saturday but didn’t say much. Lots of things happen during the weekend, well not that much, just things that got me thinking. I feel like its time to grow up. Take more responsibility in my life. I’m not saying that I don’t already. I just need to get my stuff straight and really follow my goals for the future.

I think this weekend made me realize that I really need to take this weight loss seriously, because I know I will not be 100% happy until I lose at least 20pounds.

I went to the gym last night and burned 700cals, I’m pretty happy about that!!

Breakfast:
Vector cereal + 1 cup of soy mil + cranberries + ½ banana = 350 cals
Lunch:
Spinach salad with broccoli, onions, mango, carrots, cucumbers + turkey = 300cals
Small piece of cheese cake = 120cals

I will be going to the gym tonight, no excuses (except if I’m sick). I will be going tomorrow and doing the 15min abs class. I need to push my ass, and finally do this.

Congrats on the new found motivation. Sorry to hear about the ipod and camera! That why I don't drink - just can't the out of controlness of it. And I know what you mean about the ex thing. my ex and I got back together because we missed the relationship thing. Made me realize that we broke up for very good reasons and now I'm kind of glad to be rid of him..lol

Well at this moment theres no way i'm getting rid of my ex...we work together, and i dont want him to leave, we need him to work here for what he does unless he trains someone, i'm getting use to having him around...i believe we will be great friends, we did go out for 6years so why waste all that time.

My cheesecake was sooooo yummy, i made it extra low fat by using spenda and low fat phillycheese, with the light creamcheese you can save 39cals and 4.1g fat per serving.

Prep: 10 min
Ready In: 3 hr 50 min
Serves: 12

1-1/4 cups HONEY MAID Graham Crumbs
1/3 cup melted butter
2 pkg (250 g each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 large apple, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup sliced almonds

MIX butter and crumbs in 9-inch pie plate. Press onto bottom and sides of plate. MIX cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time and mix until just blended. POUR into crust. Top unbaked cheesecake with apple slices and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until centre is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Well almost done work and can't wait...! So tonight my mom said shes gonna pick me up a salad from mcdonalds! The cals are really good!

Meal plan so for of the day:
Breakfast:
Vector cereal + 1 cup of soy mil + cranberries + ½ banana = 350 cals
Lunch:

Diner:
Mcdonalds oriental salad + grilled chicken with low fat thai dressing = 290 cals
total: 1060 cals!
still have 140 left gonna be my desert! yummm
I can have chocolat mouse = 80 cals
maybe some fruit...

Then maybe going to bring my dog for a littel walk before hitting the gym...gonna do some weights and at least 40mins of cardio it all depends on the time.

mmm.. your cheesecake looks soooo yummy!! I made one for my birthday, similar base with the fat free cream cheese. Didn't miss the regular stuff at all. I was shocked!

glad to hear you've found your motivation. It took me awhile to finally realize I needed to drop the lbs too.

Well i've just got back from the gym, its 10pm...gezzz...anyways...I did 45mins cardio burned 400cals from that and did 15-20mins of weights so i would say i at least burned 200cals from that hopefully!

I think i'm going to start posting at least one receipe a week, hopefully i get the chance to cook once in a while...Tomorrow i believe i'm going to work till 7 so i dont have to drive to much, my abs class starts at 7h30...i guess i'll see how i feel tomorrow. Cuz thats a long time staying at work, but consider sometimes i stay till 6, and the gym is on the way home...

Anyways i gotta rest up

Its 11am in Montreal, another day at work. I love long weekends, the work week is almost over…FRIDAY tomorrow! Weekends are evil for me tho, that’s when I lose track but this time I will not let it happen, I might be going for drinks tonight but I will only have one or 2 max and will include it in my daily intake, I’ll probably just have a martini, no sweetness to it, less cals.

Daily food intake:

Breakfast: Vector Cereal + raisins + cranberries + ½ banana + 1 cup of soy milk = 350
Lunch: Mixed veggies + turkey = 200
Cheese cake = 250

Total: 800
left for the day: 400

Diner: mixed veggies and chicken = 170
Yogurt = 50

Total: 1020

Gym tonight after work: 30mins of elliptical + abs class + 15mins jogging
Calories burned = about 550
 
looks like your doing well! Weekends are awful for me too, but we have to find a way to get through them.

Friday I have a ringette game at 8h15pm to 9h15pm then going out on a date, so I will be busy all night. And probably before the game I’m going to bring my dog for a walk.

Saturday I have a ringette practice at 2pm to 3pm, I will be sleeping in forsure then I have the practice and after that I gonna prepare diner and have a concert at 8 with a friend, and then we might go out for drinks, so I’m going to be busy that whole day.

Sunday I will have to control myself, and watch what I eat. If its nice out I’ll bring my dogs out for a walk, each one will get their turn cuz no way I’m going to walk a winner dog and a golden at the same time…to crazy. Also I will cook diner for my parents, at least a side dish and probably prepare soup for the week.

So as long as I keep myself busy, I should be fine!
 
Howdy Mandy! Great plan for the weekend! I have weekend troubles too. I think I'm going to have to make myself a plan of action too.
 
So yeah...
I think having a weekend plan will do me good, i guess the only way to find out is to test it out this weekend.

So i just at diner i littel pissed at myself, instead of the yogurt i had my last piece of cheesecake, it was really really good. Instead of it being 50cals now its 250cal.

Wich makes a total daily intake of: 1220
I guess its not that bad, i'm only over 20cals, but after the gym i normaly get really hungry, i will try to fill myself up with water or flavored water if that doesnt work, i'll cut myself up some fruit or have a yogurt, i shouldnt go over 1300. I should beat myself up and plus i'm heading to the gym.

Right now i'm so tired, i hope i can make it there, i can seriously sleep on my desk thats how tired i am. To bad i gotta go to the gym and at least do that 15min abs class, i havent worked on my abs since who knows when, so its time! I hate doing abs workouts so at least if i go to this class 2-3 times a week it should help me out.
 
THERE you are mandy... you didn't weigh in for team weight busters last week, but it looks like you're doing well. I wouldn't worry about 20 calories. You seem rather active and it's not going to make a huge difference. Now if it was 200 or 2000 calories that might be a different story:p
 
Its finally Friday, gosh this rocks!
I’m doing alright, not feeling 100%, my head hurts, feels like I’m gonna get something, but I’ll just keep eating healthy try to get as much sleep as I can. I think it would be a good idea for me to pick up some vitamin C. Is that what it is? It sure is starting to get cold in Montreal, no snow yet, thank god. Don’t get me wrong I love snow; I like to ski and I do other winter sports, except driving in that shit, and the cold…awww that’s what I hate.

Penquin, you had a great idea taking up Yoga, I think I might do the same. It just sucks that my gym doesn’t offer that class they only have Pilates, I can always test that out, I’ve done it before at home, its pretty good. I also have a networking card for my gym so I can go check out the other gyms to see if they offer Yoga.

So last night I don’t think I did so great. I went to the gym did cardio for 50minutes burned about 400 cals and then went home and did 10mins of abs work.

So last night before the gym I had a total of 1220 calories. But when I got home I was so hungry, I had 1 slices of rye bread, then had to pilsburry cookies that my brother made, and then coolwip with cranberries. I’m not too happy about my decitions there. Well I guess I will count that as my day off. Too bad for me! I believe that was a intake of at least 500 cals, its those damn cookies, I think they are at least 200 calories each. So the total calorie intake of yesterday was 1720cals.
Thank god I went to the gym.

Its 11am right now, I’m so hungry, highlight of the day…LUNCH! LoL

Meal plan:

Then I have to rush to do the groceries with my mom, and then go to my ringette game, then rush back home shower and get ready for a date, lol…never meet the guy, seems sweet at least its just a movie, but seriously I don’t believe I’m that shy, I always find something to talk about even if it’s the weirdest things, some guys act so nice and see interested but I know they think I’m crazy and then never call me back…haha…I guess they just cant handle me…lol…Friends tell me I’m intimidating…weird…I’ll take it as a compliment!

I'm still at that one pound...hopefully by sunday i will be down another!
