Well, here I go again.
This time I'm staying on the wagon. :p

I'm not sure how much I'll be on, as before I got so involved with keeping track of all my friends that I ran out of time to workout. And then that just started a downward spiral. LOL

I haven't weighed in since I left back in October. But I can tell I've gained some weight back. But I did start eating better in December and I started working out again the first week of January, but then I caught an awful cold that I'm still working to get over. I'm going to try eating the same as I did back when I first started working out since it really worked for me. And I'm going to avoid sugar and desserts as much as possible (with the exception of fruit) since it seems to trigger my hunger.

Well, I felt pretty good about myself, I worked out Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and I'm going to workout today after my shift. I'm keeping track of my calories again, which are ranging from 1600-1800 cals.

For my workouts right now, I got the new Biggest Loser 2 workout video, which is awesome!! Lots of weight training! I'm already feeling a difference in my clothes......BUT I got on the scale this morning and I'm back up to 230.5, ugh :(
I gained 10.5lbs back during my hiatus. But it's going to come off this time and stay off.
 
Hello and welcome back! :)

I love the "Biggest Loser" Workout DVD (I have both volumes, but have only done Vol.1 so far), and I've had AMAZING results! I lost 22lbs over 6wks, but unfortunately I gained much of it back during the holiday season :eek:. Blah! I'm trying to get back on the wagon, tho, and hopefully my butt will be planted there from here on out :p.

Oh yea! I wouldn't worry too much about your current weight gain. Since you're doing so much weight training w/ the DVD, you're probly building some muscle, and everyone knows that muscle weighs more than fat :). I'm sure you'll be losing weight in no time! :D
 
I love the remodel job on the place !! :)

Luckily I'm one of those rare truckers that doesn't eat dessert anymore so I'll put the word out on the highways and byways than Mana's Diner is still the best damn diner on the cyber planet without all those waistbusters !!

No hiding this time because independent surveys show dialy posters do lose more weight ;)

What's done is done. Let's get on with this :)

HA! That's what I had last night! a bowl of pineapple, oranges and bananas!
Well, busy busy here. Didn't work out the last two days, my muscles needed the rest. Still kept my cals w/in 16-1800. Got a fantastic night's sleep (an actual 8 hours, but could have still used some more) Going to work out tonight (and maybe this afternoon during my break).

So I was talking to some of my friends at work last week and they've been having digestive problems and one of them knew she had a food allergy, but she didn't know to what food. So after talking with both of them about what they ate, I had them go a day without any foods with wheat/gluten in them. Yeah, that solved it. One of the ladies would always get a rash on her face from it and it cleared right up after her day w/no wheat/gluten in it. And the other stopped getting "gut aches".

So that made me think that maybe this rash on my ankle that I've had for years might be related. So I didn't have any yesterday and yeah, I can tell a difference. Not just in my ankle but also in my digestion. And strangely enough, I wasn't very hungry all day either. I actually had three regular meals and no snacks and only fruit for dessert last night and I was totally fine all day. But another difference is that I'm also off my BC pills too (yeah, we're going to try to have a kid) and I can totally tell that there's a difference from that. Like last month, it wasn't so much that I wasn't hungry as that I didn't feel like I HAD to eat. When I was on the BC pills I felt like when I started getting hungry that I HAD to eat or I was going to go crazy. Now when I'm slightly hungry, I'm ok with waiting until I'm moderately hungry to eat, which I wasn't able to before.

And the thing is, it really shouldn't amaze me that what you put into your body has such a huge effect on you. But it still does, amaze me, that is. So, I'm going to go another couple of days with no wheat/gluten and see how I feel. It's really hard too, there's so many food products with that stuff in it. Anyways, I promise when I have more time, I'll post what I'm having again (cuz it's some pretty tasty stuff) Like this morning I'm having some gluten free waffles with sliced strawberries and bananas. :p

That's pretty sad that the biggest calories I had today are coming from the drinks I'm having.
