Managing Motivation..

Many of us start packed with a lot of enthusiasm but end distracted on the way. We don’t feel as passionate towards achieving our set targets. We have to push and drag ourselves to work further, and no longer enjoy it the way we used to.

Have you ever experienced a similar situation? Any suggestions to overcome this?

having a partner to work out with makes both sides accountable.

also, start a journal / diary. filling out your progress every day can help you see your results and be your own critic (plus, you will get lots of support from other members)

I tried working with partner as well as friends.. But that makes matters worse.. Some days they skip, on other days, I have an excuse..

However keeping a diary seems good.. I shall try that..

not very good friends if you can both make excuses not to go :) I feel too guilty bailing on my workout partner. Getting the email or txt an hour or two before we meet up keeps us both from skipping on days where we really don't want to go.

Good luck with the journal, though. That's what most people do.

LOL! I am too lazy for the journal as well :)

Its not like I dont enjoy what I do, but still I am even good at finding excuses for skipping it :)

It all comes down to how bad do you want it.

If you want it bad enough you will find the motivation somewhere deep down inside of you.

Like I said earlier, its not like I don't love it, or I don't enjoy doing it..

BUT all the other things that I do, make me so exhausted that I am dead tired to do it, even though I want it..
