Soo I am super inspired from all of you and so here I am starting my very own diary.

I am 25, going on 6 years married to my hubby and im tired of the way I feel and look. I am 5'1 and according to the last BMI calc I am OBESE. So very depressing, but im trying my best.

START Weight - 185 lbs
CURRENT Weight - 182.2 ( :( Not much I know, but I just started this road Tuesday! :) )
GOAL Weight - 120

Anyways, husband and I revamped our kitchen/refrigerator and have nothing but healthy, low fat, low calorie, whole grain foods in the house. So far each day has gone really well. I have decided to not do the actual calorie counting for now. Just cutting out soda (my downfall happens to Cranberry Limeades from Sonic!) and no fast food combined with smaller, healthier portions at home.

Soo here is to my journey to get my little body back to a normal size my bones can handle much better!!! :) Wish me luck!

P.S. I am actually waiting for my mother in-law to arrive so we can go walk a mile. I dont have any Before pictures just yet, might work on that when i get back.

Thanks for all the inspiration from everyone here.

Thanks for the encouragement Free!! :)

ok...So just got back and for the first days exercise we walked 2 miles. It was HELL in this muggy heat but I feel great! lol...Anyways, here is a quick breakdown of our meals these past days.

DAY 1-

Breakfast - Small serving of cranberry almond Fiber cereal with low fat milk
SNACK - 1/2 Green apple
Lunch-Turkey on wheat bread with spinach leaves, carrots/broccoli, 1 tblspn of hummus
SNACK - Weight watchers 50 cal cheese stick
Dinner - Spinach and strawberry salad and lean cuisine 265 calorie pasta meal

DAY 2 -

Breakfast - Small serving of cranberry almond Fiber cereal with low fat milk
No SNACK - Wasnt feeling hungry (surprisingly since im pretty much the CARB Monster!)
Lunch - Turkey on wheat bread with spinach leaves, carrots/broccoli
SNACK - Carrots and weight watchers cheese stick
Dinner - Baked chicken breast, 1/2 baked potato, spinach/strawberry salad and broccoli

DAY 3 -

Breakfast - Scrambeled Egg, apple and cheese stick (OMG, that was the best damn egg I have ever eaten lol...)
SNACK - nothing
Lunch - Whole grain wheat pita looking bread with tuna, green apple and carrots
SNACK - OK, I cheated here!!! 3 Small powdered wedding cookies. There was a going away party at work, and I gave in, anyways...not so bad. Back on track!
Dinner - Lean cuisine Cabbage roll and mashed potatoes - 285 calories, I think...

So compared to my previous every day diet of no breakfast, mcdonalds, sonic, wendys or chinese for lunch, then Mexican take out, tacos, gorditas, beans and rice and to top it all of, a Route 44 Cranberry Limeaide....which a large is around 350 calories alone.... WOW I better lose at least a few pounds with this diet change!!!

I have been drinking loads of water or unsweetened tea, diet green tea, light cranberry juice and V8 juice...

Fingers crossed this plan works.

Woohooo I'm down to 179.4..... most likely water weight but heck ill take it! :)

DAY 4

Breakfast-cranberry almond fiber cereal and low fat milk
Lunch-subway turkey on 9 grain, No cheese, no mayo or chipotle sauce, cram packed with veggies, unsweetned tea. (around 280 calories I think.) Pretty good as I usually get a soda, chips, and cookie, plus mayo and cheese on my Italian bmt.

Feeling pretty good so far!

Wow, you're doing great! I'm having subway for dinner here in about 15 minutes. If you haven't tried the veggie patty, I recommend it. It's delish and I'm not even a huge fan of veggies!

Hello Forum :)

So far so good! I maintained my loss of 5 lbs through the weekend and to today so I am right on track! My ultimate goal is 125, so im 5 lbs closer!!! :) Month goal is 10 so I think im doing good.

I ate pretty healthy all weekend and today so far, except we had pizza on Sunday and Ihop Friday but even then I had it in moderation! Woohoo for me! Also, this makes 1 WHOLE week without soda or diet soda! This is such a huge accomplishment for me. I know 5 lbs isn't much but I feel less bloated and even though I don't really notice a change in my clothes, I know it will come soon.

Anyways, my exercise program is starting slow but steady. Saturday we biked 2.5 miles and it felt awesome. Got home and did yard work the rest of the day, that was a workout in itself!! Sunday I rested. My knees and thighs were killing me, the biking maybe? This morning I took the dogs (1 standard poodle + 1 large retriever mix = LOTS of energy) for a brisk walk...then did 30 mins Cardio workout with hand weights. So I feel really good today. Cant weight to see if I can get a loss this week!

Thanks to all of you for your support! Maybe when I hit a 10 or 15 lb loss I will post before and after pics.
