Hi all,
So I'm new here and thought I would start a diary. I guess it's no surprise that I'm here to lose weight. I figure now is the perfect time for me to start getting into shape for summer. Ideally, I'd like to lose somewhere between 15-20 pounds, but numbers aren't really that important. I'm pretty disappointed in my lifestyle and I want to turn it around. Some of my vices...smoking (blah), alcohol, and junk food. Hello college life!
I weighed myself this morning and I was somewhere around 138 lbs. I'm a short girl too, but luckily (I think) my weight distributes itself well. So I don't feel that I look awful or anything. I just feel unhealthy and I hate feeling like that! Hopefully there are some other college kids on this board who can identify with me.
I've also started working 26 hours a week and have a pretty full schedule at school, so I feel super busy all the time. But I'm hoping to stop making excuses for myself..and just go work out. I know I can fit in a half hour or an hour in the gym here or there. It's no biggie, I just have to do it. I also hope to start drinking water. I'm not drinking NEARLY enough.
My 20th birthday is early in June...so I thought it might be fun for me to make myself a little slogan...Losing 20 by my 20th! Haha
I'm kind of a nerd but that's okay. I just have so many exciting things in life coming up and don't want to be held back by not feeling my best.
So that's all for now, I will post later...I think I'm out the door to go...work out!
