Major bulking plz

Well I'm a sophomore in high school, 16 years old. I weigh 117 and am around 5'8". I do relaize this is small. I went to the head football coach oday and asked if i could play next year, he said no because im too small. I asked if i could still play if i got bigger in the summer and he said i wouldnt basically. As you can see by my height and weight im pretty skinny, although i do have muscle its just not bulky so everyone assumes ive got nothin. Ide like to get bigger muscles as soon as possible. I currently only have 10 and 20 pound dumbells, but i could get anything if yall thing i need something.

My diet is pretty lame to say the least, im kind of a picky eater, so i dont really know how its possible for me to have a good diet because most of the stuff i see people suggesting on here tastes terrible to me. Just lifting weights doesnt show any improvement anymore, im sure im not doing it right, but ive lifted for all of the upper body and nothing gets bigger really after about he first few times ive worked that muscle.

Also, I'm on the tennis team and but we usually run a mile on the track(i run a 6:55), sometimes 2 miles, so i basically do that every week day and i doubt i need any more, that hurts my knees enough as it is. I probably sound like an idiot but i just dont want to be judged for being small anymore without even being given a chance, so if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Your muscles do not grow my lifting weights, they grow by being fed, with food! and a lot of it...stop being a picky eater. Trust me, you won't get anywhere without eating way more

Yea i wish i wasnt a picky eater, hopefully ill grow out of it. But everytime i eat a lot it seems like it goes strait to my stomach instead of anywhere else.

Don't eat a lot at once in one sitting, eat throughout the day, 6+ times. Break up meals, or just get use to eating smaller amounts more often

Eat 3000-4000 calories a day, 6-8 meals a day (3 hour split). Don't eat junk food and stuff eat like chicken, eggs, steak, milk, lots of water, nuts, and other foods high in protein.
