Madie's Diary: Keep on moving

For the past week and a half I have done some sort of physical activity every day (walked a mile or so around the neighborhood, using the weights to help tone my arms, sit-ups, etc). Just doing this every day for a week has made me feel better and it's like I have more energy now. I feel strange if I am just sitting on the sofa so I am constantly doing something around the house or walking the dogs.
I still have not completely committed myself to doing a serious workout routine every day. I WILL start tomorrow though. I HAVE to start tomorrow or I will keep pushing it off.

Good job madie! Sounds like you're making some steps in the right direction. Are you planning on adjusting your diet as well?

Sounds like a plan, Mad. I need to take my dog walking more often, but he's so old that I'm afraid he'll quit halfway and I'll have to carry him back. (Hey, upper body workout!)

Good luck! Sometimes moving is half the battle. :D

Yes, I previously started a healthier eating plan a few months ago but I know in order to lose the weight and get healthier, I have to start working out on a regular basis also. Sticking to eating healthier is much easier for me than working out on a regular basis, but I am getting used to it and actually starting to enjoy working out.

Thanks for the support!

Oh trust me, I know the feeling! One of my dogs only has 3 legs so after a while she gets tired of walking so I have to carry her back to the house. Carrying 35 pounds of dog after you've been walking in the 100 degree Alabama weather is not my idea of fun!
