Joey, after those bl**dy storms at the beginning of the year; they wouldn't DARE declare a hosepipe ban!
 
Glad to hear your garden is producing well. I grew up with a huge garden. One summer we had such a big tomato crop that I would take a big sack of them, put them on the neighbors porch, ring the doorbell and run!

When we lived in a small village Brawny, so as not to upset the nice people who gave them to us, we used to bury vegetable marrows in the garden when it had been a good year for them!
 
Thanks Maria and Violetta. And welcome to the forum Violetta. I've picked up many bits of advice and info just reading the posts.
I have to go to a garden fete this afternoon where strawberries and cream will be the order of the day. I have gallstones, and am on this diet so I have two reasons to say no. Watch this space to check if my will power was up to speed
