Oh Lindsey i was NOT criticizing I was joking!Sorry honey! You should be HAPPY you're BLESSED!!!!!!!!!!
I also want to be as flexible as Val (not that i've SEEN her flexibility...lol) I'm only assuming someone who does as much yoga as she does is mucho flexible.
Yea, strength training would do you a ton of good if applied properly.
And yoga, foam rolling and dynamic mobility drills would all do your flexibility good.
So, should I continue onward w/ the strength plan you mentioned earlier? My thighs really bug me and my arms have bingo wings!!

Yeah!!! post more of your yoga pics!!! ....splits.....lol....I shouldnt even say the WORD split...**sigh**I will get more pictures of me practicing asanas. I'm very mobile in the hammies, forward bends with a flat back are comfortable and easy for meSide splits? NOT so much!
So, should I continue onward w/ the strength plan you mentioned earlier? My thighs really bug me and my arms have bingo wings!!
a) don't let that bother you. you have it going on with your body.
b) yes, you should progress with that resistance training program coupled with an appropriate diet and some cardio as you see fit. favorable body recomposition is the goal at this point, which will include tapping into what little fat stores you have while hopefully adding some muscle.
c) you'll want to be sure once you're comfortable that you focus on progressing the exercises in terms of weight lifted nice and consistently using small jumps in weight.
Everything I'm saying is very open ended and loose here... obviously there are details in the diet that are important like adequate protein, etc... but I'm hoping you catch my drift.
I don't think I get enough protein, I should work on that! I don't know why I favor cardio over resistance training....but I'll switch that up.I'm all earsI don't think I get enough protein, I should work on that! I don't know why I favor cardio over resistance training....but I'll switch that up.
Weight training, in most contexts, doesn't do these things. Ignorance leads many to believe b/c weight training doesn't *feel like* cardio, it's not as effective for fat loss.

Yup, the synergistic effect of weight training, cardio and diet is quite powerful.

WOW, ok, I can speak about this because as far as I know, I'm the one who practices the most Yoga on here: it's not THAT much better for sex, geez! Maybe I need to watch Yoga-related porn and get more ideas. is pretty good though, but with both legs.
It is very effective. That's how I got to looking but I was also dieting, not drinking much alcohol, and RUNNING as well--weight lifting about 3 times a week and running 3 times a week, and kickboxing 2xs a week-kinda a lot![]()
