Well I tried out my weights. I jogged a mile (my first time jogging a full mile in a long time) and then I stretched lots, I pretended I was a yoga instructor and did really intricate things with my body (like touching my toes), and then I tried out a rudimentary upper body/some lower body workout. It felt awkward, but I did feel my muscles burning, and I thought 'ugh ok I'll just do 10 reps,' but then I had that voice inside that said 'no. don't half-ass it.' And so I continued. These are not all of the correct terms for the style (or form?) but it's alright:
-Bicep Curls: 3x12 - 10 lbs.
-Tricep Extension (both hands grasping weight): 3x12 - 15 lbs.
-Butterfly: 3x12 - 10 lbs.
-Military Press: 3x12 - 10 lbs.
-Bench Press (lying on floor): 3x12 - 15 lbs.
-Deep Lunges: 3x12 - 10 lbs.
-Leg Lifts: 3x12
I had a real trouble with some of those, such as the butterfly and the military and also the bicep curls on the last set. The tricep exercise felt awkward because my hands barely fit around the bell of the weight. Anything feels awkward for the first time I suppose. I did it though. Going to bed.
