If I could replace evry meal with blocks of cheese I would, much less snacks. Luvs me some cheese. Haven't tried the un-cheese yet, though.
 
I cancelled my gym session this morning and went to the doc instead as soon as I woke up, convinced I had a hernia or something. He poked n prodded and listened to my stomach, couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. He thinks the pains etc I'm getting are gas pains so he prescribed something for it that will last a week, if it doesn't help then I have to go back for tests. He's pretty sure it's digestive and not an injury. Guess I'll have to see and trust he knows what he's talking about! At least if I have to go back all the doctors within walking distance bulk bill so it doesn't cost me anything.

No plans for today, though I just noticed my husband left his lunch at home so I might walk down and drop it off for him. Really really really just want a job already, so over this. Argh.

Food plan for today

B A leftover sausage, a shake with 30g PB, 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup homemade almond milk, stevia, vanilla
S A cacao and coconut milk gelatin pudding I made
L 2 leftover sausages (they need to be eaten today, can you tell?), leftover stir fry with shirataki noodles
S 2 hardboiled eggs
D 100g chicken breast, leftover cup of broccoli, leftover caulimash

Total calories 1518

Exercise Walking, not sure how long for or how fast. I walked from the doc to the shopping centre (I think 2kms), then home, and might end up walking to the shop and back again now for husbands lunch!

Thanks MrVee, I felt better today. Still not entirely convinced it's just digestive though so i went to the chiropractor, was due for a realignment anyway. Will see over the next few days I guess!!

Husband had work drama yesterday so he's a bit on edge today on his day off. Oh, also because my freakin cat woke us up at 3ish in the morning and kept us awake till after 5!! I managed to sleep for half an hr before my gym alarm went off. Argh. So both of us are a bit tired. We were going to go out today- my PT gave me a gift voucher to a vegan cafe for Christmas- think we are going tomorrow instead. Lazy day at home I guess!!

B Peanut butter protein shake with 30g peanut butter, 1 cup homemade almond milk, 15g peanut flour, stevia, vanilla
S Coconut milk and cacao gelatine pudding
L Leftover stir fry with shirataki noodles, 2 turkey sausages
S Homemade coconut yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
D 140g leftover chicken breast, green beans and broccoli tossed in oil and garlic

I'm making up the gym session I skipped yesterday by going in tomorrow at 8am.
 
Ate a bit extra today, got into some peanut butter. Haha. Still would've had a deficit, estimate it at around 300ish cals. I think I'm doing pretty well this week, survive the weekend and hopefully I'll see a good number come Monday!

What sort of work are you looking for? Must be frustrating and hard to not eat a lot of rubbish if you're home and not working :(
 
I'm really looking for ANY work right now. I'm applying for casual/part time and full time (full time definitely preferred) in mainly retail and cafe type work. There's not much out there right now though, we live in a tourist destination and lots of tourists/uni students have those kinds of jobs- Christmas holidays are almost over though so I'm hoping more open up soon. It's so hard to stay away from food when you're home all the time! I struggled big time from Oct to now!! For some reason though right now it seems to be way under control so hoping it stays that way.

Went to that cafe for lunch, I had a mixed plate of pumpkin/pepita salad and vegetable and chick pea curry, with a black coffee. It was pretty good! I think it was probably only around 450ish cals. Ate a couple of turkey sausages before I left, and will have roast beef later. Unfortunately we couldn't just sit there too long, I'm getting pretty uncomfortable just sitting normally right now. Now that I'm not really bloated anymore from the pills I'm on I've realised the pain I'm feeling is actually lower than I thought, kind of inside my hip... so now wondering if I have a cyst or something on my ovary. I didn't just jump straight to that conclusion either, when walking back from the gym I realised I don't have the pinchy/stabby feeling anymore, just a dull ache like period pain. Argh. Annoying. Debating whether I should go back to the doc on Mon or wait till I've finished the pills like he suggested and go back Thu. Despite all that, did my back workout just fine this morning. Deadlifts were fine, purposely didn't go up to my max though. We did single arm rows and while doing my left side/ leaning on my left leg it didn't feel great.

Anyway... having a chilled afternoon at home with the husband now.

Sucked it up and went to the doc again today, I'm being tested for pcos now. Had a blood test while there and have to book in for an ultrasound tomorrow, they don't do them on weekends. Not worrying till I get my results back though! That was my whole morning pretty much- went for a walk as soon as I woke up (42mins), had breakfast, went to the docs at 9am... didn't see a doc till 10am, was out of there at 10:05 and waiting to get blood taken which didn't happen till 10:45am... That took 15mins, then I walked home again. Jeez, time has just gone today. Nicest day outside too!

Rest of the day I'm going to watch tv and chill out! Happy Sunday!

Weigh in tomorrow! Ending this week on around a 3550cal deficit. Was aiming for more but life happened, haha. Was aiming for 700g, should have lost around 500g, I'll be happy with that.

This week- aiming for a 700cal deficit every day. Gunna do it! Also going to add the dairy back in!
 
I'm hoping you get the medical stuff sorted.

I've found once you get closer to your goal and a more reasonable weight, the weight loss stuff really gets difficult mentally because the scale moves so slow. It does move, it's just hard to see it sometimes.
 
Weigh in today and... I'm 71.7kgs. Whaaaaaat. Gained 100g. I think a combo of stress/medication? I might weigh in again tomorrow to see if it's just fluid and there's a significant difference. I feel really puffy today so hoping it's just that!

Hahaha MrVee- because I'm low carb, things like fat bombs are great to get fat up without too much extra protein. This one is a freezer fudge, I made it from butter/coconut oil, cocoa powder, stevia, vanilla, and a couple of different nut butters (end of jars). Mix it all up and let it set in the freezer and cut it into squares. It's tasty stuff!

Yesterday ended up being a pretty bad day foodwise, I just let myself go with it and now I'm so bloated and puffy and have PT in an hour. Grrr. Would be ok if I had the whole day to recover from food coma but no. That's life I guess. I think it was just stress and frustration, which is silly because now I've made it impossible for myself to get a really good deficit this week.

Couldn't get an ultrasound appt till next week on Tue so I'm stuck with whatever is going on with my stomach till then. I can get my blood test results today but it'll mean nothing without the ultrasound. Grrr. I ended up going for a walk yesterday morning instead though, just to get out of the house.

Have been nowhere near perfect- after bad day Monday, I had around a 400cal deficit Tue and about maintenance yesterday. Going to be 100% perfect the rest of the week!!

Argh, just to make me worry a little more, now I'm getting a couple of super mild dizzy spells a day. If it gets more frequent or I faint or something I'll obviously go back to the doctor, just getting sick of having to! It could of course be completely unrelated, and I've definitely had them a lot prior to this. Just not recently. Grrr. Still 4 days till I have my ultrasound.

Didn't have gym this morning, my PT messaged me saying she woke up really unwell. Maybe a good thing? Means I'll either have gym tomorrow or I'll have 4 sessions next week.

Yesterday was ok once again, 500cal deficit. Going to be around the same today! Having a lazy day with husband home and the weather being really shitty outside. Food all over the place as usual when the husband is home lol, I tend to just randomly eat whenever. Can't be bothered writing down food, it looks pretty good though.

I've been having vertigo type stuff for a while now after never having them before. My doctor says it might be weight loss related. {shrugs shoulders}
 
Well. Sunday I went completely NUTS on food/carbs, yikes. Weighed in Mon (yesterday) at 72.8...!! Then had another really carby day. And then... today I got my period. So I guess I should've seen it coming, lol. The weight was a shock but I know that 1.5kg ish is fluid... Here's hoping I'll have a little whoosh next week and get the hell below 71.5!

Shitty that it came today too, I really want to crawl under a rock right now but I had leg day at the gym today - and survived - but this arvo I have that ultrasound so I have to drink that litre of water and walk to the doctors surgery, wait however long and probably see a doc right away about the combined results from my blood test too (I'm guessing you get ultrasound results right away?) Then I have to walk back and grocery shop tonight because we are completely out of food. Blargh. If husband gets paid early enough I'm going to walk to the shop this morning too to grab a few things!
