lower abs

not sure what you call it but below my abs are starting to bulge, i am not saying it is getting huge because when i look, side on, in a mirror it is not noticable but i would ideally like to flatten it out, what exercises are there for this?

A wide variety of leg-(or-knee)-raising exercises (commonly found in many ab-programs); & Chinese 5-Animal Play "Ape" posture breathing-exercise (legs fairly straight/stiff & spread-out quite-wide, bent-forward at hips, with hands fisted at hips, thumbs-outboard, spine straight: breath & try to feel muscular tension in lower abs with each exhale.

Also pay attention to your nutrition carefully, as this may be a fat-storage area for you.
 
For my lower abs, I do hanging reverse crunch type things.

Basically just hang from a bar (or anything), bring your legs to your chest, bending your knees. Make sure to take them as far as possible.
 
its probably because you have put on some fat and that is where most guys put it on, no ammount of hanging leg raises or jacknifes is going to get rid of it. What will get rid of it is a good diet and cardio.
