Lower Abs

Hey guys

I been @ the gym for about a month now and im noticing a difference on my upper abs but not on lower. COuld you recomend any exercises i could do to help me out?

Current Ab workout:
Crunches, Situps, Sideways situps and occasionally Rocky Balboa style situps.

Lay down and lift your legs up 6 inches in the air, that should work your lower abs. You could also add some resisteance with a plate to your sit-ups and such.

doesnt the 'bicycle menouver' work your entire torso? they feel great after a couple crunches and leg lifts. hanging leg lifts are the hardest ab exercise for me : )

Come on j and pb... you should know by now your abs are just one big muscle ;)

If you want to see your lower abs, you're going to have to lower your body fat. Because as I just said, the abdominals are just one large sheet and you don't really isolate the upper from the lower.

I actually thought there was 3 different sections: Upper, Middle, and Lower....kinda odd I didn't know that by now.

I think there are 3 different sections, but it still is one muscle. And definitely gotta drop fat to see it, thus the reason I can't see mine. :D

Great thanks guys. I do have a lil tire down there so once thats gone bye bye then I'll see some great results for summer hols :p
