lower abs

You can't just work the lower/upper/middle/side, etc abs. I'm not sure where this myth comes from but doing your ab work will hit the entire abdominal.
 
thats true (just like pecs) however hanging leg raises give a way different and possibly lower burn then crunches or something, you know.
 
the lower abs are much harder to get than anything else, i have like six solid ab muscles then the lowest two are much softer. and yeah some workouts work the lower abs much more than others but as far as the hanging leg raises do mean like what you would do if with an ab sling?
