I have been doin it for a week and a half and the scale has budged mabye one pound. "People" say you lose the most weight in the 1st to weeks. I havent seen anything. This is week one they wanted me to follow that I did exactly while lifting 6 days a week and HIIT 4 days a week.

Late Night snack- 1 cup low fat cottage cheese, 2tbsp roasted flaxseeds

INFO- for the 180 pounder which is me. 2,200 calories. 320 grams of protein. 50 grams of carbs and 75 grams of fat per day. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLEASE HELP

Yer doing nothing wrong except being impatient.

2lbs per week is a lot to lose when you're down to the last 10 lbs. Even 1lb a week can be rough at that point.

People who have a lot of fat to lose will lose a lot right away because of the EXERCISE change in their lifestyle, not the diet.

Alright, thanks Malkore I appreciate the answer. I guess patience is key with everything in life. These last 10 will be gone though I won't give up. Thanks again

actually, you are pretty lacking in fiber. you might want to add a fiber supplement, or some Fiber One to your daily routine.

no. Lots more veggies, especially green, leafy vegetables. Fiber One cereal (a half cup serving), or FiberSure powder.

I also don't do more than 2 shakes per day..whole food is better if you can find a way. Add some eggs or something and ditch a shake.

I just bought a box of fiber 1 shredded wheat cereal. In half a cup is equivalent to 25 carbs. You don't think thats to much?

25 carbs, but how much is fiber? remember fiber doesn't count. use it though.

and next time, just get plain Fiber One. its mostly fiber. While the other fiber one cereals are tastey, they have more sugar and less fiber per 1/2 cup than the original stuff, which is actually pretty decent. i usually put it in cottage cheese mixed with low fat, no sugar added yogurt.

Weight Loss

Hi,
As per your detail lack of fiber show this kind of symptoms you include fibrous food in your diet.
Cottage cheese mixed with low fat, no sugar added yogurt.
Also in market there is so many fibrous food available.

depends how many you're getting in total. If you want to do a keto diet you probably should get more than about 30g

You're doing fine, you've obviously been working out previous to this and as Malkore said, just be patient :D

You're on the last stretch so just stick to it and it'll happen!

thanks

Thanks guys but somehow this week i gained 1.2 pounds. It's IMPOSSIBLEEEEEEEEEE i have followed this crap 100 percent calories are still real low, along with my carbs. What the **** is going on. I just don't understand.

Have you had a break at all?

Maybe take a week or two off and then get back into it. Do a couple "fruit only" days. Their always great. Try a raw food diet for a week maybe? They're extremely good for toning and losing weight.

Mix up your exercises as well. Try something new. Maybe you're repeating the same exercises and your muscles are use to it?

Tell me if any of this helps you out.

Should check out the raw food diet, its mostly vegetables - but google it and you'll see some fantastic before and afters.

malkore

Malkore, I read somehwere that you discussed a slowwwwww body transformation of lean muscle gain, with slow fat loss. Could this be happening to me since I lift hardcore every day still, even with these cuts in food, and on that diet. I even substituted some of the foods that you suggested as well. So i don't know what else could be happening

Can you explain why? Fruit only sounds awful, a ton of fibre and sugar all day for 2 days?!? Why on earth would that be good for 'toning'

Also, the raw food idea is just fad-ish in nature, cooking foods often increased the bioavailability of nutrients so why would you not cook things?

What is a good "max" for carbs on a "low" carb diet? I've read 20g in one place and upwards of 30 in another.
