Love my hubby...but would love to turn a head or two again....

AJust got done with Leslie Sansones newest DVD... I forgot that I pre ordered it...it was a nice suprise when I got home....any way it was a great work out....I really like her because she is easy on my knees but I still get a great work out...actually she kicked my butt in this one and I loved it!! Its really long 75 minutes!! So its definitely a weekend DVD ...but I am looking forward to Friday so I can do it again!!

Whoo, yay a new DVD! Glad that you liked it and are looking forward to it. I have to say, I am not yet at the point where I am excited to exercise...I am envious of you for that. Hopefully Friday comes soon for you and you can do it again :)
 
Wooowww 75 Whole Minutes at 5 Miles O_O. I barely made it through the 30 Minute 2 Mile Brisk Pace one without collapsing! xD.


Do you know how much calories the Workouts burn? I can't seem to find the information anywhere on the Internet.
 
AJay, have you tried this site? http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc it tells you how many calories you burn doing certain activities, such as walking.

Now I'm tempted to look into that DVD! It sounds intense. I was trying to look for a treadmill so I can exercise indoors once winter comes, but they're so expensive :(. Those DVD's, do you just walk on the spot to them?
 
AJay ...I burned 618....that's from my body bugg reading...my sparkpeople app said 600 for it....So.its in that range for my height and weight. Sparkspeople is free ...you should check it out...I love the website...it has great trackers.

Jane....I'm just like a kid...its new...the excitement will wear off..haha. I was just really happy with the calorie burn I got. I have only been burning 500ish at Zumba lately.
 
ALoch...it is in door walking...but its aerobic like too....she is completely cheesey...but any one of her videos gives you a good workout...I have 8 of them. They are my Go to work out....when I lack creativity. I also have the biggest loser Walking DVD..its really good...and it had resistance training in it. Spending 20 bucks on a tape is education cheaper than a treadmill...LOL.

Well, I'm not sure about Tete's DVD, but in Leslie Sansone's 30 Minute, 2-Mile Brisk pace all I had to do is stay in one spot, apart from the occasional sidesteps. She focuses more on body movement, so you are receiving the burn you would get if you were to go outside and walk that 2 miles. It's very inexpensive and I HIGHLY recommend it, especially over a treadmill. I also like Leslie Sansone for some reason =). She reminds me of my favorite High School teacher.

I am up two pounds...I know its not real weight ....just salt and the bulk of the actual food....but it still messes with my mind....like I want to say screw it...I look ok...I'm out of plus sizes...i'll just stay at this weight and be done!! but don't freak out...I am not giving up...I am just freaking out....because I know there is no way in hell I am going to be at 8 pounds this month...I'll be lucky with 2lbs if any!! ugh!!

Awe thanks....I feel like just ROCK today...lol...I mentally have my days of SCREW IT!! but they don't seem to last long once I slow down and get back on here....I can't say enough how much this forum is the reason for my success so far....I see every one else having good days and bad days and it makes it all better!! then I tell my self ...get off the freaking computer and get your ass moving!!!
 
ARemember that, the closer you get to your goal, the slower it will get. You lose less weight per month when you have less to lose. Even if it's just 2-3lb a month, it's still progress! You've made it this far, don't be too hard on yourself ;).
 
Totally agree with everything Loch has said!! You are doing so great though tete, and you have lost so so much:):) You should be super proud of yourself love, ive been dieting since fucking july and i have not reached the 2 stone mark yet:(

So I changed my exercise from 45 minutes ~ 3 days a week to 60 minutes ~ 4 days a week on my calorie counter because that is what I normally on average do....and it ended up ..upping my calorie ranges from 1200 -1500 range to the 1370 - 1790 range....not sure what I think of this ..I have such a hard time visually seeing all those calories written down!! But all my research tells me... I have to ea to loset!! ...its such a hard balance...this losing weight thing is hard..haha.
 
You're in the 170's - I am so proud of you! I am still stuck in the 180's. You are right - the closer we get to goal the harder it is to lose (and the losses seem smaller!) I think that I am no longer uncomfortable with my weight (I am actually quite happy with it at the moment - lol!!) so I will need to get uncomfortable with it before I ramp up the weight loss. I like your DVD's I will have to look into that to remotivate me! Keep it up! You are doing so awesome!!!
