lost my way

Here's my problem. A couple years ago, I was 13 i used to lift weight play ball all that stuff keeping me in good shape I was about 130 15%bf lifting in or at my own body weight. Getting cought up with all the preshure of geting older i stoped eating right and exerciseing. Now i'm 15 5'5 160lbs and about 20%bf> i just joint a gym and i'm looking to get stronger and want to lose about 10lbs. So i guess my question is whats the best way to go about it please help thanks.
 
You should try using compound workouts to gain muscle, strength, and lose weight. Every time you gain a pound of muscle you will burn a certain amount of calories during the day and everyday, but still, you should do some cardio workout to lose some of the fat you got. Other than that, eat healthy.
 
Start running, Read the HIIT stickie. And as the poster above me said - Go on a full body routine that incorporates large compounds movements. While maintaining a solid healthy diet.
