losing weight / not gettin more ripped

fellow pumpers,

thanks to cardio, hittin the weights hard, a clean diet of whole grains, fruits, salads, chicken tuna cottage cheese and shakes, I've went down from about 198 to what I now see on the scale as 188.5. I am happy yet unhappy, because for some reason, I am not that much more ripped than I used to be. I feel like I am losing weight yet I am not getting ripped. What could be happening to cause this?

Are you making sure to reduce catabolism overnight by having milk and cottage cheese before bed? Just a thought.

well good news is that I havent shrunk. all muscles are not noticably smaller, but have dropped less than 1/2 inch :) (example: arms 16.5 when bulked, 16.1-2 when cutting).

i just looked in the mirror right now, and i do look more ripped. also, my parents have said ive gotten way more ripped. i just gotta keep going with it. all i can is, atleast nothing has shrunk dramatically (no homo)

don't u just love the paranoia ? haha.
Everyone 'looks' smaller when they cut, cuz fat makes you look bigger.
Not only that, but one reason you may think ur not getting ripped is because if you lose fat in one place ... and the area right beside that place still hasnt lost any, then it appears to give that soft look. Just gota keep goin till ur there.

just make sure you're getting ur carbs in for the day and at the proper times (like before above-sedentary or strenuous activity)

quit ur worrying. ur already beastly ripped out of ur mind. just eat right, pump those muscles, and work the **** out. :p
