Losing weight - any ideas?

Right ! So I am getting married in 2months and I need to lose weight ( I want to lose about 5 kilos by August) and then maintain the weight.

My problem with doing online research on diet is that most diets are bloody complicated, you have to have a ******* weekly menu planned out and timing when you eat. I don't have the personality for that.

Any tried and tested diets for women that are not overweight ( but want to tone and slim around the belly and get rid of love handles) , but who are in a rush all the time and cannot be bothered with keeping a diary on what they eat !

Also, no crash course ideas, as I don't want to get strech marks . thanks

Congratulations on getting married! I wish you and your future husband all the best together. Your weightloss goals however, may be poorly thought out.

First: you don´t get stretch marks from losing weight - quickly or slowly. You get them when you gain it (hence stretch marks) they just become visible when you lose it.
Second: losing 5 kg in 2 months without effort when you are not overweight is a lot.
Third: you can´t lose fat in a specific area and not somewhere else, unless you get liposuction (which I do not in any way recommend), you take what you´re given.

Other than that: the only quick and simple way to lose weight (and keep it off) without doing unhealthy things to your body is to cut out unhealthy snacks and eat freshly made food with very few processed products.

Best of luck!

and find time to hit the gym. 20m of weight training and 20m of cardio / day x 4 days / week will do a lot for burning extra calories and toning your body ... and as LaMaria said, cut out the snacks. If you need to snack, have some veggies pre-cut in the fridge and munch on those.
