losing it again!

Hi sleepless!! Thanks for stopping by my diary!! We've got a great team!!

LETS ROCK THOSE BODS BIKINI BABES!!

Good on you for dealing so well with eating out! :)

Working on your grandma's garden sounds like a win, win, win, win situation. Such a lot of positives for you both. That's lovely. :)

Thanx Felici...I had fun doing it, it has become a bit of a ritual for us. But this year her garden will be bigger than ever. we didnt get finished until dark:eek: The weeds and leaves had taken over then I went to the feed and seed and got 100 pounds of black cow 100 pounds of peats 50 pounds of lime and about 30 pounds of fertilizer. So once I got it spread I had to turn the soil a second time! I started gardening about 5 years ago, slowly I am learning what I need to know about it and it has become a passion of mine:) Very relaxing and good for the body as well. Not something most people would expect from me.Perhaps I am getting old:rolleyes:

I felt bad about not getting my regular workout in so..in true sleepless fashion I stayed up and rode the cycle for an hour and then did 30 min. of cardio...with a low intensity however...I am worn out, but feeling great!

I am feeling really good and I hope I dont lose any momentum, So I sent off for my next years UFAF(uninted fighting arts federation) membership. So I am hoping this means I will some day test for my black belt, of course I will have to do alot to get in the right kind of shape. Just something else for me to keep in mind while getting back on track. I plan to add katas and sparring to my exersize routine starting tomorrow, I am really looking forward to finally getting something I have invested 10 years of my life in...Why have I been such a quitter? I dont want to be that person anymore:mad:

OK I am rambling now...time to stop...

I like ramblers. :)

Veges fresh from the garden are one of the best things! I have been careless of my own garden this summer because of feeding my new passion for for the net and for my health, but I will add it back in. I think a healthy lifestyle and a vege garden fit together very nicely. We have a decent amount of space but not much light in our garden as it's overgrown with trees. I generally use containers near our back door for things like herbs and tomatoes. I should plant some peas and spinach. Easter is a good time here for getting gardens going .... hmmm. Now I'm rambling - and it's your diary.

I bet you gain a massive amount of motivation and satisfaction from getting back into your martial arts.:)

Ramblers welcome:) We actually cut quite a few trees we had...but the tomatos did better! Last year we ate enough tomatos to feed an army, I hope it goes that well again this year...
As for karate, my confidence flew out of the window...I am trying to backtrack and relocate it:p

Well my hubby wound up being off work Monday as well...:) And its that time of the month for me:mad: But I stood on the scale and no change...I am happy with that. I ate a few things I could have done without yesterday, but I didnt go over 2,000 calories. So I'm not gonna beat myself up about it.
I didnt get many of my regular excersizes in but I worked hard. I bought some aquatic plants and water features for my goldfish ponds, then it took me all day saturday to get it all situated, so I burned a few calories Im sure.
Then sunday we went out hiking In the woods on the family land...We covered about 200 acres of woods(I have no idea how far that is)along some steams on some very muddy terrain...Then I came home and rode the cycle!
Yesterday I cleaned the big goldfish pond...About 2000 gallons of water! This one was a seriouse workout! I had to scrub the walls for a couple hours and rince and empty a few times...the pump wouldnt get it completely empty so I got in and used a bucket!!!!Next time I will just buy a new pump:rolleyes:
This morning I ate a small bowl of strawberry shortcake...my hubbys grandma brought us the whole cake....its huge!:eek:I dont plan to even look in the fridge anymore today...gonna steer clear of that one...

We sure will the team has both of us !!!

I have my days of tired and stressed...today might be one of em!;)
Hey I'm down for a tae bo anything!!!!I love tae bo:)

well....this is day one of week three, and time as well as pounds lost have gone by faster than I thought:) I have a notebook keeping track of every single calorie in or out, so I needed to burn around 300,000 extra calories to get to my target weight...haha pretty scary number! So far I have burned almost 30,000 extra calories and that number doesnt scare me so much at all today...every thing I choose that is right takes that number down and everyday I am making it smaller and smaller...
Not that I am boasting...I have had several days when I just wanted to quit, but coming here has been my boost...Everyone here really and trully inspires me. When I read everyones stories and encouraging tips I get excited...I can go from feeling like a worn out boot to knowing why and how I can do this:) Such was the case today...I am going to go kick some ass with my tae bo video now...I sure hope everyone else is gonna have a great day like I know Im gonna have:D

What a great post!

You sound so positive. Your calorie deficit is very impressive.

Welcome to week 3. With all the activities you'll be getting into I bet you have a blast!

Thanx Felici...I feel very positive! And I am seeing results! Not to mention how much I have been getting done, this place is looking better than ever and soon I will too:)

Today was long...But I worked out and did some major spring cleaning.Kept my calories low and ate mostly organic foods...exept for that peice of strawberry shortcake:eek:
This is day 15? or so without any sodas or fast food...I guess I am craving a mt dew...oh well I will live wihout it.I must have watched my hubby drink 5 just since he got off work! That and he keeps cases of em at all times:eek:
But he has been trying to cut back.I cant beleive how with me he is on the organic food bit...he is very fit and he's given up the fast food as well:) That makes me feel better...I dont have to watch him eat it:rolleyes:
