Lose the Weight by Twenty Eight!

My first post. Woot.

I decided my motto right now will be "Lose the Weight by Twenty Eight" because I will be turning 28 in 6 months from Monday.

I recently lost 30 lbs on Weight Watchers and maintained that for a year. I now would like to lose the 30 lbs I have left to lose. I really feel like this time I'm "in it to win it."

I have decided to follow the Core point system again and have started up my first WW week on Wednesday. So far, I'm three days in.

I'm already taking small steps that will hopefully give me new habits. Tonight my boyfriend and I parked at one end of the shopping center and did all of our shopping and hiked all the way back to the car instead of just driving to each stop.

I also passed up a rice krispie treat today. And folks, that's as crazy as I can get! :smilielol5:

Congrats on you restarting. Those little things like parking further away can make a big difference I will have to remeber that.
 
Congrats on getting back to it! I lost loads of weight with WW about 5 years ago but I always used my points for things like chocolate rather than meat so Im not sure its for me! Too tempting! Anyway, sounds like your doing pretty good - Im just starting out (again!!) too so I just wanted to say hi and keep it up!
 
Well, I have a good reason why I have not updated.

My uncle and cousin were in a terrible car accident and my cousin is fine but my Uncle is in the hospital still. He's like a father to me so it's been a tough week.

As a result of my loss of appetite, I weighed myself today and had a 5lb loss for the week.

I'll keep updating here, but just wanted to post so it doesn't look like I gave up on the program - I'm still in it!
