Hey everyone. I have been reading this site for almost 2 years now, and I love everyones posts and they are very inspirational. To start my story until about 2 years ago, I was an extremely hardcore gamer(WoW in particular). So as you can imagine I lived a very sedentary life. After going to the beach in July of 2009, I saw my picture and decided CHANGES had to be made!!!! My starting weight was 291 back in July of 2009. By June of 2010, I was down to 210. Unfortunately after running on the beach everyday, I came back home to find out that I had torn my meniscus and had to have knee surgery. I had surgery in august 2010, and let myself go again. I got back up to 247 in late march of 2011 and I started working out again pretty hardcore at the begging of april. As of today, Im down to 221 and Im doing things much differently. I am focusing more on lifting weights and adding cardio in 3-4 times a week and I am losing weight and easily keeping it off this time. My goal is to get to about 175, so still ~50lbs to go. Wish me luck, I really think this time i got it!! Check out my pictures.
