Too Funny...:D

Thanks for the tip though (for reals;)) bc we will be moving soon and that will be helpful!
We have sooooooooooooooooo much stuff to hang and maybe this will cut down on fights between me and the hubs..
Man, he gets all crunk w/me... "hold it this way... NO, the other way.... You just let it slip and move down....Give me the pencil!! Where is the freakin' tape measure? Hold the level, level!!" :flame: Not looking forward to any of that!:rolleyes::rotflmao:

Glad to help Stacy,

170 even this morning, very close to breaking into the 160s for the first time in several months. Legs day today in about a half hour.

Wearing my glasses today, which I´m only mentioning to account for my misreading that last sentence as "Legs together today for about half an hour."

Alright, 171 this Monday morning and ready to take on the week.

Made it through yesterday's helliday mostly in tact, though it was touch and go right around mid day when I was out shopping. Decided it was best if I stayed indoors after that.

"Push" workout in and still making progress on the lifts which is great. Hope i can at least maintain from here as I lose 16 more pounds.

170.5 this morning. Omelet, bacon and coffee for breakfast. Legs workout is completed. Stumbled home in the nice weather.

I made several servings of chia seed pudding at once, and didn't know that with an extra day it gets reeeally thick. Yummy stuff. This time I had some left over chocolate chips, so I have those suspended in there. Made four desserts worth (about 680 calories) and have had two so far. Two left. Beats the protein bars.

High of 87 degrees today, and doesn't appear to be a cloud in the sky. Looks like I get to put the coat away for the winter.

Thanks LJ, though "hero" is a lot to live up to.

170 this morning and just finished this week's "cardio only" workout.

Survived last nights cooking experiment without any real digestive distress. Made a BBQ pork stew (I guess that's what it was) and eventually managed to get the thing fairly edible. Turned out to be more pulled pork than anything else but I didn't get sick so that's good. Tonight is just baked salmon so it'll be much easier (just about the easiest thing to make).

Fully expect to bust into the 160s in the next few days for the first time in probably 6 months.

High of 88 today. Gonna come up with a way to enjoy it for a bit.

We're having baked salmon tonight too. I just love it! Maybe you'll bust into the 160's with some dance moves Vee. Have you been to dance classes again?

Well badass at a minimum, but I don't think LJ is stretching it. BBQ pork stew made me think of pozole. If you haven't had it you should give it a try. I recommend queso fresco or queso oaxaca and blue corn tortilla chips to go with it. It's pretty simple so any recipe ought to work.

Either someone has moved your keyboard keys around without you knowing Q, or I need to catch up on recipes. I've not heard of these. And they say we welsh have a difficult language:D!

Fresh cheese or cheese from Oaxaca (in Mexico).

So it was 168.5 this morning, and I'm in the 160s for the first time in half a year. Got my pull workout in and then didn't get a whole lot accomplished today. Didn't go over calories or otherwise sabotage anything important, just ddidn't get enough productive things done. Oh well, there's still a few hours left in the day.

Nope, you're a hero. Sorry, pal, no take-backs.

Good work on the new low!

Polly, original Mexican (not Spanish) is almost as convoluted as traditional Welsh - more vowels and 'X's, less 'Y's and double-L!

Thanks LJ, though "hero" is a lot to live up to.

True, but all you need is a good theme song. And, what better theme song than this?

In all seriousness though, I'm willing to bet that you have served as inspiration for hundreds of people who have visited this forum. And, for some, I'm sure you have even been looked at as a hero.

The Merriam-Webster definition of the word "hero" states...

- a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities
- a person who is greatly admired
- the chief male character in a story, play, movie, etc

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hero

I hate to break it to you, but you fit that definition. For me, even. I admire you for what you have accomplished. I think you are brave for sharing your story with thousands upon thousands of complete strangers on this forum. I think you have fine qualities which include genuine honesty, an open heart, a vulnerable soul, the strength to give yourself to everyone around you and much more. I admire you, Mr. Vee. We all do. That's why you're always one of the first people we check in on when we visit this site - not just to see how you're doing, but to find inspiration.

You're a hero to many. Like it or not, Mr. Vee...you're a hero.

Thank you.
