Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

Sorry to hear the dating world is as fun as you hoped. It is supposed to be fun so I think putting it on the back burner for now is a good things. It'll get better in the future.

CONGRATS! Congrats on hitting your initial goal, and DAMN 190 lbs lost? That's insane! GOOD JOB!!!

Keep focusing on yourself and becoming the person you want to be, physically and mentally. I think you have a great grasp on who you are and what you want out of life, and what you want in a partner. That is more than many people can say. Just keep focusing on yourself and what you want out of life, the dating will come and you will find someone you are compatible with. Just keep being yourself and don't pretend to be anything but.

Wrecked my car on Monday night, and the air bag scratched up my arm quite a bit and my nose and lip a little bit. Not a great experience.

But I was the only one with any sort of injury and so all things considered I guess I'm lucky. Leaing town on Sunday for a week, and when I get back I guess it's time to look for a new car.

My car was worth about $1,200 so there's not much to do but go out and buy another one. I'll try and buy a used one for like seven or eight grand, and move on. Since my commute to work involves walking from my bed to my desk, it makes little sense to drop a bunch of money on a new car.

I do wonder how long it will take for my facial scrapes to heal. The 'v' in MrVee stands for 'vanity.'

185.5 this morning.

Leave for Chicago on Sunday for a week long business trip. My one week of the year where I go into an office everyday. One of the days I even have to wear a suit. Obviously it's a new suit, and when I tried it on was really the first time it dawned on me how much smaller I've gotten.

Going to try and do some lakefront jogging for exercise while there, it's a wonderful thing that the entire lakefront north of downtown is a public park. Work schedule may get in my way.

Played basketball yesterday and shot the ball ridiculously well. There's no feeling quite like when a guy who was about to turn 41 and weighed 375 pounds, two years later has kids in their early 20s putting their best defender on him to try and stop the guy wearing a Sprite t-shirt from shooting the ball.

Core workout today.

Hold on to that feeling, it's always good to have a stash of feel-good moments to dive into on bad days. Also: maybe it'll motivate me to go to mixed BJJ-training (which I've mostly avoided so far, I feel like a granny among the 18-year-olds). Wishing you good healing and all the best in Chicago.

Scratches starting to heal. 186.5 this morning, just got back from a nice long walk (needed to go to the store a little over a mile away and took a long route).

Today is day number 699 of the process and as of tomorrow I'll be one month away from two years of this.

Since I didn't post photos last month, I'll post special "on location" photos this month, maybe show off the new suit. I'm thinking maybe I'll do something special for the July 1 photos (two year anniversary) next month.

Try not to pick any more fights with airbags dude! Just think, if you didn't have that bag it might have been the steering wheel! Glad you are ok. Safe travels

Enjoy your trip to Chicago V & look forward to seeing photos of you in a suit! Cheers, Cate.

No, that just about sums it up. :D

Funny stuff.

Back from my trip. I'll post a picture of me in my suit once I get all of my chaos settled.

Alright as promised, here's me in my suit. A bathroom mirror pic as usual, the difference being I wish this was my bathroom:

Holding the camera up kind of made the suit look a little funny (and it's a touch out of focus due to an unsteady hand). But generally I was happy with the suit.

It's a lovely suit V & you are looking very slim! Would still love to see you really smile xo Cate
