Leaner, tighter, and more lean mass. It's subtle but there. You look like the badass that you are! Nice!

Also screw belligerent drunks. You came out ahead. You woke up the next day a badass and he woke up temporarily hungover and permanently a dick.

170.5 this morning as I unload the water from my bad weekend behavior.

Decided I'm going to work some "diet breaks" or "refeeds" into the plan and see how that goes. So I'm gonna cut an extra 80 calories or so from my diet 6 days a week, and then eat 500 or so more on the 7th (which would be roughly maintenance). And then every eight weeks, take a week off and eat at maintenance for a week. I have my yearly week out of town business trip in about 8 weeks, so this should work well for now.

At a pound a week, that's only about two less pounds lost over 4 months, and if it helps me stick to my diet better (and keeps my metabolism in check), I could even wind up losing more. Plus if I do stick to it, after those 4 months, I won't need to lose anymore and can begin to eat at a slight surplus.

Good day at work yesterday. Hopefully today will be another.
 
Yeah Nate. I've been at this for a while now and so I generally got an idea how much I am and am not eating. So if I'm going to purposely eat 500 calories more on one day and offset them on others, it won't be too hard to whittle off the 80 on the other six days. In fact often I find myself tacking things onto my lunch to get it up to 380 calories, so now I'll just eat 340 and be done with it. So on days where I'm strict, I have no problem eating 80 fewer calories, but this leaves me a day where I don't have to be so strict if I don't want to.

Anyhow 168 this morning, for a total of five and a half pounds in two days. That should tell you what I did on Friday and Saturday. But I'm back where I should be and now just travel back down the scale slowly from here.

Push workout in, and now it's time to get some work work done.
 
Can you imagine a day where we won't even have to think about how many calories we consume or burn? I can't really. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but I think we all wish sometimes that we could just eat what we actually feel like & not worry. For that to happen I would not be able to regain any weight at all. That's not going to happen.

I've now accepted that that's not gonna happen.

I think we all wish sometimes that we could just eat what we actually feel like & not worry.

Yes!! The problem is, if I ate more of what I 'feel' like eating I think I'd go put on all the wight I've lost really fast.

I think most of us have a bit of the "devil" in us :D I don't really have a trucker mouth, but I do swear. I just couldn't resist sharing it. It was funny though, as I felt like apologising for the swearing :blush5:
 
170 this morning. The added weight is a result of the late night food binge on Tuesday. Mostly water weight.

Anyhow back from my morning workout. It's the end of the month, so I decided to go old school and do a picture comparison. I was kinda interested if I looked like I'd made any progress.

Anyhow, these are shirtless so avert your eyes if you have a weak stomach. Three pictures, one from July 1, 2012, one from July 1, 2015 and one from this morning:

So anyhow those last two pics are virtually the same weight 171.5 for 2015, 170 for today. Maybe it's wishful thinking but it looks like maybe I've made a little progress between the two. I wish it had been more, but I've done quite a bit of back sliding at times. It doesn't look any worse at least.

Ok, first of all - DAMN. What a HUGE difference. Great job, man.

Secondly, in regard to the last two pictures - I don't know if this makes sense or not, but even though you were pretty much the same exact weight, you just look much healthier in the second of the two pictures.

Good job on the weightlifting too. I remember (back in the day) when I used to lift weights how big of a deal it was to hit a benchmark goal with weight/reps, whatever. You should feel good about yourself, Vee.

Awwww, yeah! That's the goal anyway. Worried I might only make it to "sexy as heck," or even worse "sexy as golly gee."

Anyway 168.5 again this morning. Cardio workout in. Cool front coming in so the high today will be a nice 83, though a touch cloudy out. Was already 95 yesterday. A tad early for this stuff, but 95 really ain't bad at all down here.
 
Well it's cooled off a bit (75 today, 81 tomorrow) and the weekend was fine. Thanks Q.

168.5 this morning and I have a pull workout in about half an hour. Gonna try and do the remote office thing again tomorrow as it's a good day for it schedule-wise.

167.5 this morning. Last couple of times I got down to here, I went apeshit that night and had to work my way back. Will look to avoid that. Hvae Friday's scheduled as my "eat at maintenance" days. It's a good day for two reasons: one it's later in the week so if something happens where I wind up going over earlier, I can just adjust. And two it's the weekend so I'm more likely to be eating out.

Cardio day completed and gonna take a shower and then get to work. Weather looks absolutely glorious for the rest of the week.
 
Still here. Busy as hell trying to become the greatest ever at my job. Why? Good question. Have a weird story to tell when I get a spare chance.
